Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
That store better give my Gp back. I have always wondered if I should reveal what Black mage is. I actually have no idea what he is. He's either a arcane incarnation or some other obsure creature. i really dont know.

Your hands don't look that purple either.
The hat and eyes are easily excusable.
Besides, I do know how to turn you into an AI. Do you have another expendable epic arcane caster?Dark Souls Remake in a Nutshell

Gah.. -.- LIKE I READ THE PLAYERS HANDBOOK ON ARCANE RITUALS.
Doomer's master that told him to go find lying is epic level so its plausible that it could have been him.
Hands=gloves Supported by arcane energy that he channels into his real hands to make them retain their shape.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Let's not get into an argument folks, we like this thread and it's open-and-not-locked state.
Also, Arcane Incarnations aren't in the MM or the PHB. To my knowledge they're unwritten homebrew.
@Szilard: Not me, I have nothing of involvement with that archive after all.Last edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2008-06-27 at 03:47 PM.

What was Lying supposed to have done? In Rand's count, there are 5 total existing AIs. The other 4 live inside the ancient fortress of High Aios.

There are 2 that have appeared in WTWU, but they're not around anymore. Let's say that there were a LOT more.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Think again, Xver is quite freezing. Actually, at this point, I'd venture he's frozen.
Hmm, the current, Q plotaports to Plot 3 kinda creates a crossover. How are we going to handle this vis a vis the archives? There are a couple of things to consider.
Firstly, from a readability standpoint, Q going to Plot Three is part of FFF (albeit a crossover). So perhaps they should appear in in the FFF archives. On the other tentacle, they involve Plot 3 characters and as such should be in the Plot 3 archive so as to not leave a gap there.
Then there's the matter of the nature of time travel. If we adopt as is farily common the scheme based on quantum universe splitting, then he's not in the real plot three at all.
As I'm new here, I've really got no say, but these are some things you should consider.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
They'll go in the Plot 3 archive, the same/similar situation is Nameless' presence in Plot 3. He teleported back in time to handle some business and teleported back 1 second after leaving, so he can spend all the immortal while he wants in Plot 3 and still participated in 3F.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
No time travel is involved. I traveled to the comic itself. It's kind've hard to explain.
How about this: all fictional characters in the world live in their own little bubbles of reality. Each reality has it's own laws and events that are going on, and it's own assumed time period.
The clown-headed plot teleporter travels the beings to another bubble. Regardless of the time, no time is being traveled through just space.
Technically, the clown-headed plot teleporter could theoretically travel to ANY plot in the world, including TV shows, movies or even video games. Of course, since the plot teleporter is very dangerous and unpredictable, traveling between plots with great differences should be avoided.
Also, I still can't die. Pain still affects me though, so immortality isn't all it's cracked up to be anymore.Last edited by Green-Shirt Q; 2008-06-28 at 07:13 AM.

Then he would be raised. It would be similar to going back in time and getting eaten by a dino. Born in the present, go to the past, and die. Simple.
Unless he happens to somehow have his own parents (or something similar).
And don't forget the great reset button that no one knows about. If you want a OotS style Touhou avatar, send me a request.

Right. I just finished the game I made for my Software Design & Development subject, but I need you people (well, people in general; you're just the most readily available people) to give me feedback on it. What's a good file hosting site?

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
I usually use photobucket, but then its the only thing I have tried.
But keep it up spitting out these strips now, or I'll be forced to pick up my torch and go to the archive. There I might get some clues of why you are here and how you came to said place. :)
(And the busyfunction is irritating - but a lot less irritating than the eternal loading)

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Well, it would have been more fun if
SpoilerRedshirt did not always go in the same direction - the only thing you needed to do was to stand at the bottom and spam the swordattack. It made you unkillable. And maybe you should add so that redshirt could change direction when he have spawned, maybe a jump too? As it is he just speeds up at the bottomline. The ranged attack was close to useless due to the low killingrate and lack of imortality.
Maybe a track of kills would be a plus.
But keep up the work! (It is probably very hard to do stuff like this)
