Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Yes, a couple months. Till August.
And I would say that Portugese is more like a mix between spanish and french. Although I wouldn't really know since I don't speak the language very well. My son and my grandchildren are fluent, and they will be teaching me.
Sorry about your watch.Last edited by Green-Shirt Q; 2008-07-02 at 05:29 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
A thought occurs... Larry and Igon have a lot in common.
- They're both surrounded uncomfortably by people way younger than themselves.
- They've seen their people mistreated and abused (Dragons by the Talisman, Arcanians as Uber Royal Guards (The Immortals) or simply massacred).
- They're both very competent mages
- They're both connected with Death, figuratively and/or literally.
- Both certainly have flairs for the dramatic.
- Both are deeply invested in the Talisman of the Dragon King, albeit for opposing reasons (Lying wants to protect it, Larry wants to destroy)
You mean my comment was unfriendly?
Wouldn't I have stated opinion to cause unfriendliness? Or made an insult of some kind? Rather than stating well-known fact?
Seriously, I don't understand how I'm being unfriendlyLast edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2008-07-02 at 06:35 PM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
Well, insinuating that a large group of people's beliefs are fictional does strike me as rather unfriendly, but I merely meant that religion is an Inappropriate Topic on the forums, so please don't insult mine.

Nice catch, NC. I've never played Jump! Stars, though. I didn't know about the color draining. I thought I was being original.

New Avatar
I have designed a new avatar to use. The hair was difficult and I still think of it as unsightly.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
I've never liked Marines, too "Vanilla". I always make ambitious projects for armies, that never get off the ground. Like an entirely vehicle/bike mounted Eldar army.
I hope to try and convert a Hrud army next.
For this tourney though, I was playing Warhammer: Game of Fantasy Battles. I used a random list, made from my friends spare Goblin models, and won all three of my games in both the Heats and the Tournament itself. Our team came Second overall, which is better than we've ever done in 40K.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread- Part VI
I'm baaaack!
A lot happened, apparently. At least I got incorporated into the story. Wasn't sure how I'd manage that.
Also, I'd appreciate it if I was not portrayed playing with a piece of string. The Gremlin is a powerful undead mage, not a little creepy kitty. Just so that you guys know.
Also, I'd like to vote for
Avatar Battle Royale VII-What The Hell Is Being Posted Here?!
EDIT: So is the next comic called or are you guys all just talking about the next discussion thread?Last edited by The Gremlin; 2008-07-05 at 06:58 PM.
