Oh noes! I've been caught in an unbelievable lie. That's fine. I'm heading to the Old Country on Friday and then to Vegas for a few days. I need to reduce the number of games I'm in by that time. Plus, as a villager, we won't lose a power role with my demise, so here's to sending me home early. Have a good game, Haruki-kun.

He spots dallas-dakota and feels something is out of place.

Day 1 Ends

The summer festival was a lot of fun. The food stands smelled delicious, the games were a fun competition, and the performers were astounding.

At the end of the festival, Keiichi walked away from the group as he spotted Tomitake speaking to a woman. Curious about what he had said earlier, he walked to him.

"Hello, Tomitake-san."

"Oh, hi, there, Keiichi. Beautiful Festival, isn't it?"

"Yeah... Tomitake-san, can I ask you something?"

"Of course. What is it, Keiichi-kun?"

"Have there been any... strange... crimes in this town? Like... a murder?"

"There have," said Tomitake calmly, "it was about... 4 years ago. Precisely during this festival."

The woman giggled. "After that, it happened every year."

"What did?"

"Every year, someone dies," explained Tomitake.

"EVERY year???"

"The year after that murder during the festival... a resident of Hinamizawa fell off a cliff and died during a trip. His wife's body hasn't even been found."

The woman nodded. "The year after that during the festival, the owner of a shrine died mysteriously. His wife threw herself into the swamp and committed suicide."

"One more year after that, during the night of the festival, they found a housewife's dead body. And the fifth year after that..."

"It's tonight!" finished the woman.

Meanwhile

The Council assembled shortly after the festival in order to decide the fate of one person. The elders, as well as the younger members of the Families and several respected villagers were present to give their opinion on the matter.

The head of the Sonozaki family spoke. She was an ancient woman, and spoke with a cold voice. "I have heard troubling news about someone sneaking into Oyashiro-sama's shrine."

"What? How?" came the answers.

"Silence. This news, however troubling, must be worked with carefully. Rumour has it that the intruder is one of our village's children."

"Brat!" yelled a villager. "These children must be taught a lesson! We don't want to anger the spirits!"

"I agree. However... making a child pay for something like this, especially if the child in question might not be guilty at all, is something I cannot allow. We must let the child atone for his crimes. Oyashiro-sama will surely understand it if we do."

"What about the curse? What if this brat--"

"That is up to fate to decide. Speaking as the head of the Sonozaki family, this child will be allowed to live. At the very least this time."

Summary:
No one was lynched, in order to avoid the first-day lynch.

Night one begins now and ends in 48 hours (less if I get all actions sent in before that.)

After finishing his breakfast, Irie-sensei cleaned the dishes and changed the closed sign on his clinic to open, after all since his is the only clinic in the village it would be devastating to the village if it was closed. With that he opened a newspaper and began to read the news.

A car pulls up to the village school in the morning. A large man steps out and looks around. Walking inside, he comes across the teacher and asks her for a favour. The teacher goes into the classroom and walks out again. Keiichi follows her.

"Yes? What is it?"

"Keiichi Maebara-san, is it? Let's talk in my car, please."

Inside the car, the man reached into the glove compartment and pulled out a photograph. Giving it to Keiichi, he said, "I'm Agent Oishii, police officer. I would like to know if you know anything about this man."

The man in the picture turned out to be Tomitake. "Tomitake-san? I've seen him lately. What about him?"

"He was murdered last night."

"What?"

"We have not found the culprit. His body was found in the road between Hinamizawa and the nearby village. The Autopsy says that he clawed at his own throat.

Within Hinamizawa, however, we found yet another body. The autopsy revealed the same thing. The second body was identified as Freshmeat_. It is suspected there might have been narcotics involved, but none have been identified so far.

The villagers of Hinamizawa will all believe this is the product of the curse of the spirit, Oyashiro-sama. However, the police has been investigating this bizarre chain of events for 5 years.

I'll be on patrol in the village every now and then. The Villagers would only be scared if they knew about this... so if you could keep it to yourself. that would be perfect. I'll be in contact with you. Please tell me if you find anything... strange."

Just as yesterday, Nirako-san goes about cleaning the school. One of the kids had set up the classic wet sponge falling from the doorframe trap in the supply closet. He knew that that little blonde girl was notorious for trap pranks... Her name was important somehow... Gah, it doesn't matter. Just another mess to clean.

My point was that emperor-san would probably know what hes talking about. Look at who he pointed at. Somone who isnt active. He either knows them to be an enemy, so is voting for good cause, or doesnt have a clue, and is voting for someone who doesnt appear to be playing.

Well, unless someone comes up with a better target, I'm sticking with Emperor Demonking for self preservation if nothing else. I've already explained that I'm not as active in other threads due to end of semester exams coming up.
As for Freshmeat's death, I'm not the only one that wants him dead. After all, he is almost as good if not better than Shadow in these games and with fame comes pain.
