Default Artemis Fowl Vs Hannibal "the cannibal" Lector

Here is the situation; both start in their home countries, Hannibal is thought dead by authorities(but not Artemis), and Artemis' is not under investigation.

Artemis has all his knowledge of fairy tech.(though he currently has access to none) EDIT: No fairy tech.
    Butler is in his prime.

    No stupid age drain thing.

Hannibal is in his mental and physical prime.(I don't care if those dates don't match up)

Both have full access to access to large resources(Artemis has his masive fortune/home and Hannibal has various bank acounts he set up before) they both know of the other, though they have never met, and they have one year to kill the other.

EDIT: Remember; both are smart, both know how to cover their tracks.

Artemis. If he can get minimal fairy tech, he should be able to build a C cube, track Lecter with that, and then have Butler do a nice job on him.

Lecter simply can't approach Arty without him being prepared. The best he can get is a draw.

Artemis beat a civilization several centuries ahead of him in technology, and they had magic. One psycho genius cannibal won't do crap against him.
