Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
*Narrows eyes.*
I'm watching 'oo....
...Besides, I have to get more people to watch it. In this way I expand my sphere of influence. I've got people who had never watched anime before to be hooked on the stuff.
It's a conspiracy

I only like 5 >.>
1. Guess (No, guess the anime, not the Anime "Guess" if there is one...)
2. .hack (Mostly just .hack/sign)
3. Bleach (Kinda... Watch it on and off)
4. Naruto (Main character makes it lose LOTS of points)
5. Uh... Um... Okay, so I only like 4 >.>

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
Hmm, I'm going to guess your no.1 is Pokemon.
I only really like Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop and Escaflowne, some ones that are alright Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Early Yugioh I used to like(then it got ridiculious). Can't really think of any more.
I like Studio Ghibli movies, especially Howl's Moving Castle(Christian Bale and Billy Cristal=win).

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
Uhmm... And you have watched how many?
I mean, have you watched Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, FMA, Azumanga Daioh, Excel Saga, what? Them's just a few I personally liked quite some.
Also, maybe this discussion would be best suited to Media... Specifically the anime thread? ...Just a thought...
In other news, I'm going to bed. Night.

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
Princess mononoke=best movie eva.
Miyazaki (sp?) makes the best movies. I love them all, but Princess Mononoke is mah fav.
... It's a movie (or anime-like movie) not technically an anime
... Right?
There are a lot of anime's I've seen part of, but I only have time to watch 1 at a time (... Over and over...)
And in case this is suited for a better thread (Like Player Zero said), I'll stop now, as I am un-awares >.>

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
Not all Ghibli films rock, though. For example, My Neighbor Totoro sucked. As did Porco Rosso.
By far the best anime series I have ever seen is Kino's Journey.
Additionaly, Princess Mononoke +1.

Meh, I've ony ever enjoyed Yu-Gi-Oh! (subs)
Only I prefer Bakura's dub voice.
I find it hard to get into other anime's.

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
Princess Mononoke was absolutely beautiful. Thank you for reminding me to watch it again.
As for books to read, I just read 1984 and earlier this year, Animal Farm. Both, in my opinion, are brilliant, and 1984 is worth a re-read.formerly known as xNadia

FYI, placing any tags around a spoiler will break the spoiler. MasatoHyuga, you might want to change that.

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
Both awesome books! I especially enjoy 1984, so depressing but a great study on the human psyche and our 'big brother society.'

Oh, to me my spoiler works fine.... Not sure exactly what you mean, but you know more about it then I do, so might as well go check it out and fix it up then.

Same, Calamity. And The Rose Dragon's sig doesn't link me anywhere when I open it either...is it a conspiracy Rawhide? Trying to keep all the spoilered secrets for yourself, to afford you ULTIMATE POWER over narrative causality? Is that it? I'm watching you, gecko... *taps tin foil hat nervously*

Re: Dr. Bath's Random Banter, dripping with daring deeds of dastardly deipnosophists
What? I just don't like snickers that much =\
... And I don't need to see your friend, it's entirely all right heheheheh...heh...
Why am I not surprised to here this?
Yeah, homemade cookies > Store bought cookies, if they are done right. Otherwise the store bought ones are better.
@Rawhide: Yeah, I saw that first one whenever I was on a really crapy computer or the loading was taking forever. Otherwise, not at all.
Though at least it'll work now reguardless, right?
Also it feels strange talking about me >.>
