Gnomes and Half-Orcs in 4e?
Anyone have any idea on when these might be available? Have Wizards said anything about when they may be released? Maybe forgotten realms will just have a large smattering of the races like the 3e sourcebook?

Re: Gnomes and Half-Orcs in 4e?
Gnomes are somewhere in the monster manual and half-orc haven't appeared as of yet, but if you want to play one you could simply pick a full-orc and call it a half-orc.

Re: Gnomes and Half-Orcs in 4e?
Gnomes can be found on the last pages of the Monster Manual, along with various other races that can be used as PC races. Note that the stats of PC gnomes are not in the main gnome entry.
Half-Orcs don't yet exist and might not for a while, but for similar statistics try being a full Orc instead - Orc PC stats can also be found at the back of the Monster Manual.

Re: Gnomes and Half-Orcs in 4e?
Ther are racial stats for many races in back of MM. There are however, 80% finished. In time new books will add new stuff, but they are fine for now.
Like Warforged got extra +1 Will and can now use Resolve any time not just when bloodied according to Dragon magazine.
Page 277 are Gnomes.
For 1/2 Orc do what they did for 1/2 Elf:
Dual Heritage: You can take feats that have either elf or human as a prerequisite (as well as those specifically for half-elves), as long as you meet any other requirements.
Just change references from elf to Orc.
Maybe:
+2 Insight/Endurance,
Dual Heritage,
+2 Con, +2 Wis (like the Warcraft 1/2 Orc),
Low-light vision,
+1 racial Fort Defense
Inner Rage (Encounter power, Personal): Free action, empowering next attack made before end of next turn. If you hit, deal extra damage equal to Wis Mod to an enemy.
Similar to Tieflings' infernal Wrath, but no bonus hit and can be used without being attacked first.
