Re: Civil war, Gyradan
Ok, I really hate rules lawyering but this is getting absurd. You explicitly stated he was level 3. It doesn't make any sense for this guy to be a mage. For armor heavy enough to stop a point-blank crossbow, he'd need medium armor. this would cause him to cafe an arcane spell failure chance of 20%-30%. Theres also the issue of his HP. Since hes an elf and a wizard, his max HP would be 12-20. I've dealt 21 to him.

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
For him to deal 3d4 with Burning hands he would need all 3 levels to be wizard. But it seems that he cant use his sword for beans so I guess I'll just have to beat the living crap out of him.
I'll take a called shot at his unarmored head

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
(I killed the captain, you killed the driver and one caster, we team killed the others. That's all of them).
Zazalemal slides down from his mount and approaches each of the fallen light elves. He sinks his blade into the necks of the guard and the two wizards before approaching the captain, whom he prods with his boot.

Zazalemal turns the captain's body face up and kneels next to it. He strips his fallen foe of his weapons and armor, then checks for a pulse.

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
Zazalemal eyes the goblin coldly. "Who or what is Crag Kar? And why shouldn't I keep the spoils?"
Nevertheless, he tosses the captain's gear into the carriage, then similarly strips the other three guards and the driver, also tossing their equipment inside before climbing in and shutting the door behind him.
SpoilerI'm stuffing as much of their gear as I can into my Heward's Handy Haversack while nobody can see.

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
the goblin pierce you with his eyes "Crag Kar! the CAPITOL! where Gyradan lives!" he shakes his head "you're never gonna get to sell those things ANYWHERE. the price is simply to high. The only man with enough money in this land is Gyradan himself."

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
I started running before them and I didn't stop. and I ran into the woods. I think it'd take them a good 5-10 minutes before they can find me. Within that time I'd like to impregnate the princess, making it so the next heir has my blood. Then I erase the evidence that anything happened before my allies show up.

Actually, considering a round of combat only lasts 6 seconds and the fact that I move at almost twice the speed you do, odds are that i'd catch up before you could drop your pants.

Zazalemal hops out of the carriage, adjusting the straps of his pack as he strides toward his horse. Taking hold of the reins, he leads his mount to the back of the carriage, then ties the animal securely before climbing into the driver's seat. He turns in the direction that the others went and calls out, "Stop screwing around! We still have a job to do!"

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
ok, the drow loads the dead elfs into the cars (cus i assume youre to lazy to take them off. maybe cut of the heads and leave them there...) and their weapons. and you put WHAT in the haversack?
(slight hint: you will indeed not be able to sell these expensive armours for what they are really worth. offering all you found to Gyradan might make him grateful....)
And the monk tries to force himself upon the princess. Roll strength.
but since youre a monk you might use your wisdom modifier instead. oh, and add Evil to your alignment.
Why mind, wolfie boy? it was either him or the dorw!
XD
unless you wanna have a go as well?

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
((Considering my math adds up to me easily catching up to faithless and the DM has yet to disprove this, I'll go ahead and take my action. As for why, the wolf is an honorable assassin, Evil, but lawful evil.))
Adrius arrives just in time to see the monk struggling to force himself upon the princess. He hides (Hide Check - (1d20+13)[33]) in the brush, and examines the monk...no armor...preoccupied...Too easy. He removes the tip from of one of his bolts and pulls the trigger on the crossbow.

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
After knocking the monk cold and pulling him off the princess, Adrius ties her hands tightly and gags her. He puts the princess on his shoulder and drags the monk behind him. He returns to the carriage, dropping the monk hard on the ground. Looks like the girl was a bit more trouble for him than he thought. Good thing I know how to deal with wizards. He says, holding an empty vial of his hornet's poison.

Zazalemal eyes the unconscious and half-undressed monk and the ruffled state of the princess's clothing with a sardonic grin. The amusement in his voice is obvious. "Yes, elves become more dangerous while unconscious. Everyone knows this. So, shall we continue?"

Re: Civil war, Gyradan
Adrius hops into the cart with the princess and sits opposite the pile of bodies in the other seat. He sniffs the air then covers his nose with his mask. {GAH! What the hell!?! I didn't think people really **** themselves when they died!} During the ride back, every so often an guard's body "falls" out of the carrige, stripped of it's armor.
