Why did you only roll one air attack, Eldan? You get 4.
Still, FFF got filthy lucky.Folding@Home

Re: A Game of Nations: World War 2
Right.
Three more air attacks:
(1d6)[3]
(1d6)[2]
(1d6)[1]
Hmm. Means I take down your bomber. Which doesn't change anything.

Ah, I see thats still a pretty awesome bonus, I just figured I would get some additional stratagey points per battle.

Re: A Game of Nations: World War 2
You do. 2 extra because you have +2 to the roll used to determine strategy points. Did you even read the rules?

Yes, I did, I just had trouble understanding them.
It seemed pretty simple, till' everyone started doing this whole phase, by phase stuff, but I got it down pat now.

I declare the battle of the Ukraine null and void.

So, I'm not Wizard, and maybe he'll say differently later, but I call this whole battle bulls**t, and I want to see a correct first post from Germany before he attacks anyone else.Ramm in Lords of the Elements

Re: A Game of Nations: World War 2
I have units listed, by army, I MEANT millitary, its the same bloddy thing in my book, so please no rules lawyering/ being a jerk over wording.
Army of CORUSE meant millitary.
Also dont be such an ass, the battle was fine, and my additonal point of wealth that you mentioned went towards my additional destroyer, in the fleet of the nazis, which BTW is PATHETICLY SMALL.
And I NEVER removed ANY unis, and in fact i'am some units BEHIND, which I'll put into my newly aquaired territories.Last edited by Fan; 2008-08-11 at 02:09 PM.

Re: A Game of Nations: World War 2
And with your 2 spending on military, that raises your military stat to 6. Every 2 points spent is a +1 increase in the stat.
I'm not sure what you mean by the second half of this post. I'm trying to tell you that that extra point of wealth doesn't exist ...
You can sit here and call me names all you want. It won't change anything. I don't care if you think I'm a rules-lawyer; we're in a playtest, the purpose of which is to thoroughly test the rules. If you're not interested in this, maybe you should reconsider your position here.Ramm in Lords of the Elements

If no-one makes further moves I declare Movement Phase 2 is now officialnever mind...simultaneous post
Still let's see if reinforcing works (I now have to roll an intercept check)Last edited by Wizard of the Coat; 2008-08-11 at 04:04 PM.

Hmm. If it's TIFBB, I would just reinforce as well, instead of attack.
Edit: Of course, I can't. Army size limit.Last edited by Eldan; 2008-08-11 at 04:07 PM.

Re: A Game of Nations: World War 2
Interception: (1d6+7)[12] has to beat a 9 (3 from rol + 6 strategic manouvring)
Strategy roll: (1d6+1)[3] (remember if the intecept is succesfull the armies are merged and the better commander takes over...I'll write strategies later depending on the succes of the intercept)
((Also I'll probably order my ukrainian forces to invade the causassus after this battle. ))

Result: Russia T*IA / Germany I*FBB
"German and Russian forces continue to battle things out around Novogrod, fierce armor battles are littering the ground with burned out tanks"
"Army Group North" (Cau): IFBB (rank 1 /4 XP)
Russia Forces: TIA (rank 0/1 XP) and IA (rank 1/3 XP)
(note if you combine them you can place the other commander in command of a different army or hold him in reserve)
"Army Group South" (UKR) TIA => (CAU)
"German forces have broken through at Stalingrad and are pushing into the Caucassus"
((note that the turn has not ended, merely a new movement phase will happen, so you can take back territories that seem conquered))

MOVEMENT PHASE 2 STARTS (unless there are objections)
Reveal hidden moves:
"Submarine Fleet" is in (E ATL) ((OOC: it made a false move))
"Submarine Fleet" (E ATL): DDDDD => Hidden move ((OOC: I expect this to be the common way of using hidden troops, as is intended, essentially they are not easily found or attacked...probably I'll allow espionage actions to 'force revelations'))
(as a GM I'll not make attack moves for a while (near of phase only)unless some-one actively is telling me to do so...doesn't seem fair otherwise as I'd always take the first set of moves.)Last edited by Wizard of the Coat; 2008-08-11 at 04:45 PM.

US Admirals Chase Down Japanese Fleet in Midway
5 Destroyers from PAC move to MID. A new unit forms, with the 2-star commander leading 5 Destroyers in an attack on JAP S C. They can't outmaneuver the Destroyers, so I'll roll strategy for both sides.
