"Oh, good, now they are running away. Excellent, nothing to worry about then." Flyn pats Drake on the back in a congratulatory way.

He turns back to the group, "Say, where did little Tania go? Oh, my I hope that nothing has happened to her."

Drake turns and looks at the group, "Where is Taniella?"

"We should look for her. She can't have gone far. Should we look around the house?"

What's the house look like? Brick, wooden, number of stories, windows (where located, if barred, if reachable etc), angled roof, flat roof, is the house joined to another building?

Taniella was, of course, inside the home. She was trying to see anything that would suggest what might have happened according to the contents of the house.

"Yes, let us check the house" Kain says as he walks up to the door and opens the door.

Leo nods as the little creature skulks away, this is not his concern.
After a lenghty period of silence he replies to Kain "Indead waiting here will accomplish nothing."

OOC: With my Dark and Lowlight vision you can't sneak away from me without 'hide in plain sight'.

Drake shrugs, since all talking is over.

Somehow I feel that talking is not something that these people do well.

Nothing seems to have been broken in the house. Things have been disturbed, though. The house looks like it has been turned upside-down, stuff is everywhere, and the whole place is a mess. There is a raven in a cage, dead.

The door looked like it might have been forced open, athough I suspect the handle has been completely crushed now, by Kain's fist. Anyone who enters immdeiately notices that the house is very messy, with things all over the place.

If anyone has static effects that are always active, it is your responsability to remind me of them when you think they may come into effect. The house is made of wood, 2 stories tall. You can see a window on the upper level, closed. The house is pretty far removed from the rest of the town.

Sticking his head through the door Leo ponders the state of the home "Now what do we have here?"

Flyn

"Well, as long as we've gone through all the trouble of opening the door, shall we? Oh, uh, well, those of us that can fit through the door, that is. Perhaps, kind sir, you would be so kind as to wait here and let us know if anyone approaches from the road? I'm sure your fine sight and imposing presense can see the furthest in this light and deter the average passerby from interferring." Flyn addresses the large Dragony creature with great respect.

Kain looks around inside, I can barely see anything, this wont do at all. He focuses for a moment, then his eyes glow brighter then usual and four silver balls of glowing light fly out of them and hover before him. A second later the glowing balls zip around the room, pausing occasionally for a few seconds before moving on.

Drake shrugs, and since the door is open, he goes in and looks around. Keeping his alchemists eye out for anything that looks out of place for a normal laboratory.

The door, which looks like it might have been forced open, is unlocked. Opening the door, anyone who looks inside can immediately see that the place is a complete mess, which things alll over the place.

The layout of the house is fairly basic. The doorway is a 15x5 hallway, which leads into the main room. The room looks to be about 50x50, with stairs leading up in the far corner. You don't see any other doors on this floor.

Seeing nothing particular out of place (or more to the point, everything out of place - and nothing unusual that might indicate a laboratory oddity), Drake heads for the stairs and goes carefully up.

The second floor is about as big as the first floor, and just as messy. There is a bed in the far corner, the sheets in a tangled ball on the floor. A drawer has been emptied all over the ground in another corner. Bookshelves that line the close wall are empty, all of the books having been strewn over the ground.

Flyn casually walks around the room allowing his elven eyes look for anything out of place. If he finds nothing he'll head upstairs and repeat the efforts.

"He's either not sleeping or he's not been here in a week. I don't see anything else of note here."

Drake shrugs, "If he was close to a breakthrough, he may have taken stimulants to keep working." He frowns, looking at the mess. "Well, this doesn't seem to have yielded any information."

Now in darkness again,Kain glares at the stairs.I hope they find something upstairs ... wait, are they talking? ... Damnation, I hate buildings that are not made for people of my size!. Kain shrugs his shoulders and turns towards the door O well, I guess I'll wait outside.It sure is dark in here though ... The door was in this direction right? ...

Flyn looks around and tosses whatever he has in his hand at the moment gently towards the bed, "Well, I've had enough of this fun. Anyone, by any chance, know of any of Thamior's friends locally? We might be able to get some information from them. We never really spoke about it, personally."

Flyn heads down the stairs and stops to look over the bird's cage once more. "Hey, pretty bird. Did Thamior tell you anything about where he went? Did he have any friends besides you in town?"

Drake walks downstairs, "I don't know anyone locally... and in our correspondence he never mentioned any of his friends... just his work."

Peering through the second story window Leo asks; "How's it going in there?"

Flyn walks out of the house.

"'Bout as well as one could expect from an empty house that has been picked over already."

Drake walks out, shrugging, "Well, I'm at a loss..."
