Thanks for telling me, Randman. I had a focal migrain when my family and I were on a holiday in Bristol, and I was pretty much incapable of doing anything until I threw up (I blame the loud music at a Frankie and Benny'srestaurant which we went to before it started).

I'm actually pretty lucky in that I don't get the really bad cluster migraines. On the 1-10 scale, my 'graines are rarely more than a 6. It's just when they drag on and on, it's exhausting.

The prescription medication started working very quickly though. Yay!

It must have been a lot worse than mine, cause I'm still sort of functioning. I took a taxi to the doctor, but it stopped raining while I was there, so I walked home (about a mile). It doesn't sound like you'd have been able to do that.

I couldn't even talk or take my watch off to be honest. (Walking anywhere was out of the question once it fully took effect.)

Not at all.

I don't drink much caffeine anyway. At least, now I'm starting to. But when I stop, I don't get anything.

I never touch caffein at all. I was just told that it was a focal migrain. (What's the difference between those and clusters?)

I had chronic migraines for a while.

It was Skins. It premiered on BBCA last night and shouldn't have. I love it, though. No, it was in English, but it was subtitled anyway for the benefit of Americans, I guess. It just makes me mad. If the Brits are talking too fast, make us listen to them quicker, don't subtitle them!

Thanks for telling me (I've never seen that, it's not the sort of thing that I'd like, but I have one friend who likes it a lot). I never knew British people were seen as fast talkers (unless I'm just faster then most English people).
