I don't think that you can diplomance PCs without some kind of interaction, so at the very most Wave-Watcher will feel a modicum of trust towards Jerren.

OOC: Jull will wait until the rest of the group has established that entering the house would be a good idea before going in. He will go in first, if no-one objects.

Jull thanks the children, and stands next to Seph, waiting for the others to establish if entering would be a good idea or not.

The human would nod once. He was leaning against the outside of the building, off to the side of the door, arms crossed, and his right foot resting against the building.

"Right. Part of your code, wait to check if coast is clear to continue?" Seph inquired of Jull.

Even if others entered and found it to be safe, it was still too dangerous to assume anything. These two had just arrived and were called out by a letter with a dozen or so words upon it.

Jull screws up his face, apparently in deep thought.

Uh... Nah. Just somfing an old friend taughts me.

Jull's right hand idly reaches up and into the neck of his plate mail. Bringing it out, he idly fingers a piece of warped wood on a string around his neck, previously concealed beneath his armour.

Fink we should be ready for fightin'?

Zordek quickly buys a bottle of wine before they leave. (Canna be arrivin' empty-handed, right?)

Along the way, he attempts to Sense Motive on why Jerren is trying to be so diplomatic.

He mostly forgets about the wine when called quickly inside. He goes in immediately, not thinking this could be a trap, what with so many of us called and into a house in the city.

"Hello there master dwarf, I was just wondering thinking that a large Warrior, a mighty dwarf, a skilled martial artist at least by the look of it, and a man of the water, a lady that is skilled in combat could be helpful in these dangerous parts. I've recently lost my lead, any some extra money might be useful, but I am a bit far away from my contacts. Roads are dangerous, the waters are worse. Thats all, I am Jerren Stilsmite by the way, and you are?"
Jerren then enters the house, watching the the others, his shield down and hand near his mace, ready to draw on moments notice.

Hello master dwarf. Sir cleric. Come in, all of you, a quiet voice with an odd accent says. As to that 'lead' I belive I know a man who can help, but there is always a price, no? Inside you see a man with tan skin and black hair tied up in a pony tail, wearing clothes very similar to Seph's. He is sitting cross legged on the floor in front of a low table, around which several cusions are arranged.

Ah, so they'd play this game. He was probably expendable--or was expecting to be killed should this group be that vicious... Or this was merely a test? No matter, Seph would nod to the door, then head in himself. "Come on. Worse comes to worse, it'll be an honorable death."

A rather simplistic environment--still taking caution of his wisdom, he would move slowly to the pad just across from the man, taking his seat upon his knees (via olden time Japan stance).

"Thank you." Wave-Watcher follows the others in and takes a seat. He then quiets and sits in a meditative stance, waiting for the man to explain himself.

Jull ponders after Seph, and sits down in an uncomfortable position, with some difficulty, his plate armour impeding his movements, not being built for situations outside of combat. He nods to the seated figure.

Wotcha mate. I be Jull.

It is obvious that this is all the figure will get from the burly Half-Orc without prompting him directly, his discomfort in situations where violence is not the answer is evident.

Ah! What an embarrassing situation. Jull, his companion, had introduced himself, and Seph had not done so--merely sat without a word.

His palm would hit his forehead "My apologies. The name's Seph. Seph Baelzara."

The only woman in the group tilts her head. Malvina Reynolds.

The man nods to each of you in turn. To Seph, he offers a traditional greeting you were taught when you got your first belt. It roughly translates to "Greeting honored rich one."

When you all gather around the table he steeples his fingers. Because of what you said in the inn, and because of what Jerren said just outside of my window, I know where your skills lie. I know of some of your motivations. My employer can offer a job for you, and pay what you need. If you notice me speaking fast and hurrying you into the house, there is a reason. This house is watched. One of my girls distracted the watcher while you all arrived, but they are not above peering into my window and listening at my keyhole, so if you would like to learn more, follow me.

The monk would accept, and return the greeting. Couldn't be that bad, right? Ah well, no matter, Seph would follow suit of Jull and the rest, but staying beside Jull.

He slips out of a side door into an alley way and jumps onto a passing cart. Then he gestures you all aboard.

Jerren takes a quick look at the cart, trying to find any strange right of the bat, finding nothing he enters. He enters first finding the best spot if the ride would be a long one.

Malvina warily jumps aboard and drops to sit across from him.
Oh yes, cart-riding, my favourite form of adventure that is.

He so wanted to ride on the top and feel the whoosh of wind go past his face. To see the whole place from a higher stand point. But, he knew better, with a minor shrug, and arms behind his back he would be the last to climb in, or at the very least, take a seat by the exit.

"You know, if I didn't know better this is almost too suspicious. Underhanded even."

[Reckon you could've been a bit more descriptive as to the speed of the cart? Would I need a Jump check to reach? Balance to stay on?]

Momentarily shocked by their new guides actions, Jull stands dumbfounded for a moment, only running towards, jumping (with difficulty) onto the vehicle, Jull topples uncertainly backwards, narrowly avoiding falling off the edge, managing to steady himself, despite his heavy armour.

You reckons you ken gives us some warnings when you do t'ings like dat?
