Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
I'd still like to play through with Wave-Watcher if the other group is going strong.

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
Hmm... I swear I made a post here. Huh. Musta gotten eaten by the slow downs.
Ok, for those of you about to get hopped into the other group, here's the scoop. You all are in the Menoah city of Meridia. You've been hired by this guy named Ozymandieus to hunt down the Crows. This much is basically what you all have done so far. Now, in imagination land, you got information that the Crows were hiding out in a group of islands called the Obsidians. Unfortunatly, your boat sank. Or something. Anyway, you've just spotted Gav, a young City Guardsmen from Olaris who worked for Ozy, wandering the docks.

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
I've been out of the loop for the last couple of days with acute bronchitis. Awesome fun . While I've been keeping track of my own games I've fallen out of the loop for some others, including this one.
I'm good to go now though, just send me the link to the other group .Currently DMingSpoilerEberron: The Secrets of War

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
Nooo problem. Just put down who you react so I can ease you into the other group.
So they just had a pirate captive, who had this contact in this city. After they show up he looks at them and says 'hey, I'm going to go set up the meeting' and they let him walk away. Who wants to bet he comes back on his own free will?

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
Well, everyone knows that pirates are like puppies, you feed them once and they'll always come back to you .
And what do you mean by who you react? If you mean who I'm playing, I still want to have a go with Wave-Watcher. One question though, can I take the Ashbound feat at 6th level? It's from the Eberron setting and it doubles the length of any Summon Nature's X spell cast and gives the summoned creatures a +3 luck bonus to attack rolls.Last edited by Darkantra; 2008-12-14 at 07:33 PM.

Done. And Jull took the liberty of bringing Wave-Watcher with him.

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
Damn, I wanted my summons to be ultra powerful, oh well.
And... I'd react by grabbing my comrade, presumably Jull, and approaching him head on. As far as we know, he may have been sent to get us another boat .Currently DMingSpoilerEberron: The Secrets of War

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
Nah, my IE crapped out just as I finished that last post on the other thread, and I lost the bits I'd written. Then I had to run off and eat gefore I could finish it. Hence the anger. See? Anger.

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
So JJ, are you going to tell us how we came across the information about the Crows? And how we lost our boat?
Because I have an awesome story. It involves undead dolphins dual-wielding katanas. That's how awesome it is.
That; or maybe we could say that we just parked it somewhere and forgot it.Feel free to catch me on MSN if you ever feel like a chat! You can find me under "ChocolateHeathen (At) Hotmail (Dot) com", most days.

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
I was wondering the same thing.
Rather perplexed at to the answer... I was going to go off the cuff BS'ing it with some less epic story than Rettu's.Characters:

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
Bs away but uh... no undead dolphins, even if they have katana's.
A giant squid refrence wouldn't be out of place though.

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
Damn, and I hadn't even got to the bit where... Okay fine, we'll go with something physically possible.
Hmm. Giant squid sounds alright. Everyone else fine with that, or has someone else got an idea?Feel free to catch me on MSN if you ever feel like a chat! You can find me under "ChocolateHeathen (At) Hotmail (Dot) com", most days.

Re: Journals on the Gem Sea
I've doing up one right now, about how a school of Curious Squid got too curious, and ended up engulfing the ship. Sadly, only us four were able to survive the squidening.
Oh, and my Squid is now a Curious Squid, which explains why he'll be grappling all the time, he's just so curious that he has to see things up close.Last edited by Darkantra; 2008-12-15 at 02:22 PM.
