Like I said on the OOTS Arts n Crafts thread, nice avatar erisian. Theres bound to be some kind of demon in DnD that it could represent.

The D&D equvalent of a balrog would be a balor. IMO it's pretty clear that WoTC didn't feel like paying up to use the name balrog and thus used the name balor instead (just like halflings are replacing hobbits).
