Sorry I missed the post, very tired. It is a gigantic spider, made entirely of cruel hooks, barbed chains and jagged iron. The chains turn and twist on each other as the knives and barbs dance. Derrat knows that it is an outsider and has an intelligence of 6.

Derrat will use Flensing on the outsider then.

Doing (2d6)[6] damage, Fort save for half. As well as (1d6)[3] Con damage and (1d6)[2] Cha damage, Fort negates. (That's all one save. DC 27.)

Flensing will continue for the next 4 rounds, whether or not the Outsider makes it's saves.

Meanwhile, Derrat will sink back into the stone.

Derrat conjures up a blast of sand against the creature but it seems to dissapate, as if swatted aside. (SR check failed) Zan'den fires of two quick shots, both finding chinks in the creature's armor but not seeming to preturbe it. As it flinches, Iago then strikes at it with a blade of pure arcane enery. Although the spider takes two powerful blows it remains unshaken. With a mighty shout, Eshe plunges her ransuer into its chainy hide, causing it to let out an inhuman shriek of screeching metal. It then lashes out at Iago, and scores a great gash on his neck (damage 36) then immediately begins to constrict the limb and climbs back up to the ceiling with the warlock in tow. (Sorry, I'll let you make your own grapples in the future.) Eshe tries to get off a hit before it skitters away but her grip gets caught in her bracer. For Iago and Aresk, the screeching chains become to much and them suddenly they hear.......nothing.

((FF, the spider is now out of range of melee if you want to redo your actions.))

1.Derrat, full health, in the floor.
2.Zan'den, full health, at the door.
3.Iago, 36 damage and deafened, currently grappled.
4.Eshe, full health, five feet from the door.
5.Spider, 20 feet from the door and 30ft. up with Iago.
    6.Aresk.

Damage wise, did you factor in the DR2 I have?

Also the steps for grapple are:

    Step 1

Attack of Opportunity. You provoke an attack of opportunity from the target you are trying to grapple. If the attack of opportunity deals damage, the grapple attempt fails. (Certain monsters do not provoke attacks of opportunity when they attempt to grapple, nor do characters with the Improved Grapple feat.) If the attack of opportunity misses or fails to deal damage, proceed to Step 2.
    Step 2

Grab. You make a melee touch attack to grab the target. If you fail to hit the target, the grapple attempt fails. If you succeed, proceed to Step 3.
    Step 3

Hold. Make an opposed grapple check as a free action.

If you succeed, you and your target are now grappling, and you deal damage to the target as if with an unarmed strike.

If you lose, you fail to start the grapple. You automatically lose an attempt to hold if the target is two or more size categories larger than you are.

In case of a tie, the combatant with the higher grapple check modifier wins. If this is a tie, roll again to break the tie.
    Step 4

Maintain Grapple. To maintain the grapple for later rounds, you must move into the target’s space. (This movement is free and doesn’t count as part of your movement in the round.)

Moving, as normal, provokes attacks of opportunity from threatening opponents, but not from your target.

If you can’t move into your target’s space, you can’t maintain the grapple and must immediately let go of the target. To grapple again, you must begin at Step 1.

    Which step are we at?
There isn't one, iirc, where I get pulled away...

Hellfire Shield (Sp): Starting at 3rd level, you can call up hellfire to surround yourself with a protective barrier. Whenever someone directs a melee attack against you, you can, as an immediate action, aim a blast of hellfire at that creature. This blast deals damage equal to your eldritch blast (including bonus damage from the hellfire blast ability). This blast automatically strikes the target, which can attempt a Reflex saving throw for half damage (DC 10 + 1/2 your character level + your Cha modifier).

Hellfire Shield Damage: (14d6)[43] Reflex save for half, DC 19.

Derrat rises from the floor, and taking stock of the new situation, he feels the need to save the Warlock, which had proved to be a useful tool for accomplishing things of a Demonic nature.

"Iago!" Eshe calls damning herself missing and letting that spider-thing run off like that. She quickly glances around taking in her surroundings properly. She takes particular note of how far the spider is from her, if she has a clear amount of ground to charge across and how much head room the area provides.

To mainly Zanden, as she notced him looking at the thing in interest she asks "Is it weak to any kind of weapon? Quickly if you know!" She then starts running at the thing...

Derrat's spell shoots towards the creature but seems not to affect it at all. Eshe leaps high into the air but manages to miss, her strike going wide to the left. Zan'den darts acoss the room, shooting wildly and three arrows find their place on the creatures underside which causes it to howl. Eyes closed and concentraiting, Iago suddenly vanishes but not before the sound has deafened him as well. Robbed of its prey, the spider drops and strikes out at Aresk, hitting him twice (36 damage). Inresponse however, the elf lets loose a mighty lightning-bolt.
