Re: The Elemental Storm - Team Good
[Seph]
The monk would remain silent for the majority of the time, following suit of the majority of the party. What needed to be said, had already been said, and thus, superfluous to add on.
"No reward, but rest assured it will be done as you asked." He sounded almost carefree as he spoke now.
He was ready for the trip, s'long as the rest were as well.
SpoilerGods sorry about the long delay. I thought I had subscribed to this thread, but didn't

Re: The Elemental Storm - Team Good
As Isaac leading the way through a graveyard surrounded by an eery feeling, you eventually arrive at an elaborate and large crypt, the gate to which is slightly open, revealing darkness within.
"Good luck to you adventurers, you're free to come back up to the temple if you need to rest yourselves."
Isaac then heads back to the temple nearby to continue with his priestly business.

Celix
Looking at the open, dark maw of the crypt, Celix puts his pack down and pulls out a torch. After lighting it and securing his sword, he turns to the others.
"This is the last chance to get out. It's corrupt ground in there."
Without saying another word, Celix opens the door wide and walks through first.Ask me about our low price vacation plans in the Elemental Plane of Puppies and PieSpoiler

Re: The Elemental Storm - Team Good
Down the stone, worn steps leading underground into the crypt, the sound of bats squeaking fills the air. As you reach the air, a swarm flies out above your head, ignoring you in fear of getting away from the torch and unwittingly into the sunlight. The passage continues for a good thirty feet before you arrive in a chamber with three passages leading off beyond your torchlight.

Re: The Elemental Storm - Team Good
Suddenly Shrike, you feel a jaw bite into the back of your leg! Looking down, you spot a quartet of much bigger than normal centipedes crawling from towards you from the left corner closest to the way you came in, and amongst them one that's almost as big as you! Although the bite is harmless, you feel a slick of poison enter your bloodstream. Make a fortitude save!
And now, initiatives.

Shrike jumps at the bite and spins around, drawing her throwing axe as she looks, and then spots the centipedes, her eyes widening.

Laen
Laen steps ahead into the room and unshoulders his bow. Drawing back, he takes aim at the nearest centipede still standing.
SpoilerI suppose I’ll be at position b (or d, if b is where Rorainis moved from), and move up one and over one to clear the passage. If FFF killed his centipede, I’ll go for the top-right one.
I didn’t specify, since we jumped right into this, but let’s assume I’m keeping my bow out as we move forward. I’m an arrowist, it’s sort of my thing.

Re: The Elemental Storm - Team Good
SpoilerSorry Zar, typo on my behalf there: not a double turn for you. Also, no criticals on a critical, it's just a super confirm, which means nothing outside bragging rights
Roranis slices his sword through the centipede's unguarded skull, sending blood and gore spurting outwards in a glorious fountain.
Laen's aim goes above the centipede's small frame and scatters off the wall behind it.
One of the small centipede's crawls over the Ranis' leg and procedes to bite for it, intending to release its poison into his blood stream. The other attempts to do the same to Laen but both fail to bite through your footwear. The larger of the centipedes heads for Shrike and procedes to bite into her leg while releasing a potent venom as well as tearing off a chunk of flesh. Make a fortitude save!
SpoilerRanis' Centipede attack roll and damage roll: (1d20+3)[4], (1d4-3)[-2]
Laen's: (1d20+3)[9], (1d4-3)[-1]
Medium centipede's attack + damage roll on Shrike: (1d20+2)[20], (1d6-1)[5]
