Re: Shipping itP II: Scourge of the Seven Seas
Erm, Trog is pretty much uncle(or father) to everybody, Zeb and Alarra are pretty much grandpa and grandma to everybody and one family part is :
Magtok : Father of Bath and Salmon
Bath : Son of Magtok, father of Salmon
Salmon : Child of Bath and Magtok, also grandchild of Magtok.
There it is. Magtok and Bath.
All from memory.

Re: Shipping itP II: Scourge of the Seven Seas
Tempest refuses to be shipped, and will report anyone who does.
So, no go there.

Hey! I too am grandpappy to some of the playground! Yeah. It's like, the other, almost entirely male, far creepier branch of the family.
And you got it the wrong way round! I'm the paterfamilias! Not Magtok. He's m'boy. Yessir. Nothing creepy about that... nosiree... *whistles innocently*
*runs away*

Re: Shipping itP II: Scourge of the Seven Seas
How is it any more disturbing? You just gotta replace every instance of 'Magtok' with 'Bath' and every 'Bath' with 'Magtok' No problemo!
And don't you give that backtalk, I'm your probably-father/grandfather-but-could-be-step-father/grandfather!, whippersnapper! *shakes stick*

Yeah, anyone on the chart are related to the Bath-Magtok stuff. Yes, I appear to be their daughter somehow.

Re: Shipping itP II: Scourge of the Seven Seas
Back to shipping...
I think I know why I've been moving so slow on The Empire Ships Back, when A New Ship went so smoothly. It's because Empire was the best out of the six. There's just not as much to mock. But after a brainstorming session with a friend, I think I know where to start now. So maaaaaybe, I'll get the next installment written soon so that Nil will stop nagging me...My avatar! Re: Shipping itP II: Scourge of the Seven Seas
Yes!
Vespe/RHL
The Invisible Man
SpoilerI'm the invisible man I'm the invisible man
Incredible how you can see right through me
She loved Queen. He had often stood outide her room listening. Listening to her every move, the soft whisper of her clothes as she changed. And always the music of Queen perfumed the air.
He could tell her every flicker of emotion by the song she played and her voice as it joined in with her idol.
Freddie Mercury
And then he stole into Maggy's lab on a mission. He wanted a serum to turn him invisible at will so he could watch her closer. So close he could feel her sweet breath on his flushed cheeks.
When you hear a sound that you just can't place
Feel somethin' move that you just can't trace
When something sits on the end of your bed
Don't turn around when you hear me tread
A few hours after he first tasted his miracle elixir he slipped, more unseen than a beam of light into her room and stood in an out of the way corner.
She came in rather late, yawning pleasantly and ran her tongue over her perfect red lips.
He shivered and shifted on his feet and she started. "What was that?" Her bell - like voice rang softly and her angelic face turned slightly in his direction; clearly trying to find where the creak had come from. But she found nothing.
As she slept that night he tiptoed over to her bed and her small slim form. She was faery - like in every respect. He sat on the edge of the bed and ghosted a hand over her peaceful face, skimmed her hair. She stirred restlessly in her sleep, a frown disturbing features Michelangelo would have begged to carve as something interrupted her peaceful dream.
He loved her so much. He wanted her; RHL.
She gasped awake. Eyes dishevelled, but somehow brightened by her sleep. He couldn't help but laugh and whisper greetings.
"Hah hah hah hello."
"Who goes there?"
"Hah hah hah OK."
"Who goes there?"
"Hah hah hah hello hello hello hello."
Panicking now, she ran out of the room screaming for Maggums, Curly and every AMENite she could name.
Now I'm on your track and I'm in your mind
And I'm on your back but don't look behind
I'm your meanest thought I'm your darkest fear
But I'll never get caught you can't shake me shake me dear
For the next few days Vespe followed RHL almost everywhere in his desire to be there for her always and to know everything about she who had captured his heart.
And during those days the poor girl became increasingly paranoid, hardly daring to sleep or be alone in those terror filled, angry days. He never left her thoughts; but it wasn't the way Vespe intended for it to be. Nothing could find where Vespe was; not after the initial six hour period. "It was only a prototype intended for a six hour period. I'm so sorry RHL. I didn't think Vespe would . . . " a penitant Maggy trailed off, knowing that all signs of Vespe's presence would fad until he was little more than a sigh on the wind, and then nothing. He would fade out of existence.
But until then she, the innocent one in all this, would suffer the unending torments of paranoia and distrust. He could be anywhere. Watching her. Listening.
Touching.
Yes, even his touch would be unfelt. And then, he shuddered at the thought, refusing to allow it to cross his brain.
I'm the invisible man I'm the invisible man
Incredible how you can see right through me
Watch me
I'm the invisible man I'm the invisible man
It's criminal how I can see right through you
Look at me look at me
Noone could see him any more; he could contact no one. The penalty for his theft was isolation from all his friends and her. RHL. He could only watch her until he faded; already voiceless, only time would help him pass the loneliness. Couldn't touch already.
What would be lost next?
Her. He knew he would die. Perhaps he would just stay with his RHL until then. Yes, he would.
This is rather creepy and please note that neither character acts like this IRL or on the forums. And I do feel a tad grimy after writing this, so don't look at me in such a disapproving way. Was fun to write though.
Was it creepy enough for you?Last edited by CurlyKitGirl; 2008-10-16 at 03:43 PM.
