Re: Destro Yersul's Dangerously Distracting and Doubtlessly Disturbing Random Banter
I expected that a course that required a super special STEP qualification for entry to at least assume you knew the basic principle of calculus!
Oh well I suppose, if it's all too easy I'll have more time to waste doing nothing.

Re: Destro Yersul's Dangerously Distracting and Doubtlessly Disturbing Random Banter
So . . . it involves Michael Barrymore? Bet I got his name wrong and all.
But pool murders are really quite funny. You've got to kill someone, in a pool and presumably, surprise them.
Now, drowning's really easy to do but if you want it really dramatic you should -
What?
And I love Mock the Week, even if it's just repeats. Frankie, Hugh, Andy and Russel are fantastic.

A friend of mine passed out today because he's been deprived of sleep. Since I have been getting about as much sleep as him I can't be far behind. Yay

I'm currently cooking up a storm to make Serpentine proud.
Herb and garlic marinated kangaroo meat mini-roast.

OOooo Kangeroo meat, never had any of that.

Re: Destro Yersul's Dangerously Distracting and Doubtlessly Disturbing Random Banter
Oh, my gods. I'm not the only one who loves biltong.
When we were in London, we were near this dairy. Mum sent me to get some dishwashing liquid one day, and I walked in and saw packs and PACKS of biltong.
I bought all of it.
Mum was not pleased.
It was delicious.formerly known as xNadia

Re: Destro Yersul's Dangerously Distracting and Doubtlessly Disturbing Random Banter
Yeh biltong is amazingly expensive here in the UK, so when we go to South Africa to visit my Aunt and Uncle and cousins we just buy loads and bring it back with us.

Re: Destro Yersul's Dangerously Distracting and Doubtlessly Disturbing Random Banter
According to my father (because I really wouldn't know) it is traditional in university maths classes to revise the entire A-level syllabus in the first week or so. Then they move on to more complex stuff. At the same pace. If you're still finding it easy at the end of the first term then you're probably very good. If you're still finding it easy by second year then you may just be a genius.
I know I should google it, but I'm lazy. What is biltong?

Noon! That means I've been up for an hour already! And probably awake for most of that.
Does it count as awake if I have no recollection of the passage of time?

What is this "Biltong"? An animal? A pack animal? A pack animal that hunts dairy products?

Biltong: Delicious South African dried meat snack. Typically has other stuff in it like coriander and garlic.
