FAQ:

1. What's the point? Isn't there already a good aligned organization? Why didn't you just join HALO?
   
   OOC, we have nothing against HALO. (IC may be a different story.) However, we wanted an organization that only allows good-aligned members and focuses on the redemption of evildoers. If the real world can have multiple organizations for the purpose of doing good, we don't see why the forum can't hold more than one as well.
   
   
2. No seriously. Aren't you just a HALO clone?
   
   Not intentionally. We have our own purpose and our own mission, which overlaps somewhat with HALO's, but is not identical.
   
   
3. Why don't you let anyone post in the main thread without PMing first?
   
   OOC answer: Honestly, we tried it, and it was too chaotic to read.
   IC answer: You don't let strangers wander into your house at all hours, do you? We just want to know who is in our house.
   
   
4. Still, it seems awfully rude. You've offended a lot of people.
   
   We're sorry. We didn't mean to.
   
   
5. What's the point of the visitor's centre?
   
   We still want to play nicely with others! So we set up the visitor's centre thread to provide an IC access port.
   
   
6. Are you part of the Town? Or are you in an extra dimension?
   
   We didn't really know at first, but when AMEN contacted us, it seemed clear that we inhabited some sort of reality with AMEN and HALO. Which means we aren't Town. I think. (Really, we're making this up as we go along!)
   
   
7. Will you be interacting with the other groups?
   
   
   Yes, but we haven't worked out the mechanics yet. We're officially at war with AMEN, but we don't want random fighting going on in our headquarters. So we might be setting up a war thread or a plot thread or something, but we don't know yet.
   
   As far as HALO goes, we have no formal ties with them, though there is some membership overlap, and we're currently in discussions. IC, some of us have formed a negative opinion of HALO. It doesn't mean we have a problem with you OOC. (Honestly, Turtle isn't the brightest crayon in the box, and she's very defensive about being a former evildoer.)
   
   
8. GLoG is a pretty silly name, isn't it?
   
   Yes. Yes it is. One of our founding members used to belong to the Evil League of Evil (If you haven't heard of it, google 'Dr Horrible'), so when she turned good, it seemed reasonable to form the Good League of Good.

Nomlas undeadtimes and is sitting at a table, with his feet lounged upon it. A cigar is resting inbetween his lips as he puffs on it casually. He takes it out for a second to speak. Bah. Never been a fan of that 'new thread smell'. He coughs a little and continues to focus on his smoking.

v: ((Sure, if someone else dies from it, all the better! ))

((Le gasp! There's a 19 year old in the room! Second hand smoke Kills!))

((And now for something completely different. A man, with three buttocks. A TLAP thread))

Turtle sporks up a ventilation fan right over Nomlas's head.

"Right. What the hell are you doing here?"

Freakin' joy. Nomlas flicks some ash onto the floor, still keeping his position. What am I doing here? I'm a member, ain't I? He smirks and let's out a little chuckle. You need to relax, Sassafrass. I'm not making any trouble, well, not yet anyway.

Mint enters the room with Nomlas, still wearing her pajamas...

Kris shadowsteps into the room, glaring with obvious distaste at Nomlas.
Hey Happy.

Mint sits down across from Nomlas, not caring about his smoking.

Nomlas shoots a mean glare at Kris and then turns to face Mint. Sorry pal, this table is reserved for the cool kids. Why don't you go and play in the sandbox or something?

[Quinsar]

She frowns, blushes and stands.

Glares back at Nomlas.

There's nothing to be sorry about. Hey, sit over there and I'll make some food. It'll probably be horrible but well, that's what the cleanup drones are for.

That's right, go on. You're not wanted here. Nomlas shoo's her away and then carries on with his chain smoking. And don't come back anytime soon, Kiddo. Unless you want your eyes ripped outta your sockets that is. Upon hearing Kris, Nomlas spins around in his chair to look at him. What's my problem? Well, let's see, Global Warming is probably at the top of my list at the moment. That stuff's real bad, y'know?

"A member, are you? I don't think so. Get the hell out of here, and quit harassing us. We may accept evildoers who are sincerely trying to repent, but we have no room here for jerks."

[Almighty Salmon]

Nomlas chuckles at Happy's response. Get out? Wow, even HALO kept me for longer than that. He stands from his chair and walks over to Happyturtle, standing just a few inches from her. Why don't you make me, Shortcake? I need something to amuse me anyway.

[Ashen Lilies]

Kris glares even harder at Nomlas. ((Holy crap! I'm turning into Nyneave, next thing you know I'll be tugging braids and sniffing)) His shadow looms ominously behind him, defying all common courtesy for the Laws of Physics.
The only person who should be afraid of having their eyes ripped out of their sockets is you. Do you have any concept of 'being nice'?

His shadow detaches from him, wrapping around Nomlas' feet and attempting to trip him.

Turtle hits Nomlas with a Rainbow Blast spell (1d6 of each energy type--and yes I know Nomlas will probably laugh it off.)

Nomlas is hit with the rainbow spell and is sent flying back. He crashes through the table and slowly gets up, rubbing his head. This also means that the shadow didn't grab him. Rainbow blast? Really? God, this place is lame.. After finding his balance again, Nomlas whips out a potion and glugs it down. Replenishing the health lost from the Blast. Rightio, well I was gonna try and not get physical with you. But since you two insist, I guess i'll have to do my thang. He laughs darkly and pulls out a small, silver ball. I think you'll enjoy this. He throws it towards the two, it should explode when it nears them and cover them both in a constricting web type thing.

Kris steps out of Nomlas' own shadow, and grabs him from behind, while his shadow servant attempts to engulf him.

Turtle is grappled by the web.

[Almighty Salmon]

While Kris is behind him, Nomlas attempts to swiftly land his heel into Kris' groin. He plays dirty like that. If that works, Nomlas will attempts to tumble out of the way of the shadow servant and throw a dagger directly towards Happy.

[Ashen Lilies]

*gets kicked in the crotch.*
Kris groans from the pain but manages to still hold on to Nomlas. He can't provide the concentration to control his Shadow Servant though, and it rejoins with Kris, becoming a normal shadow. Kris attempts to port into one of the holding cells, bringing Nomlas with him.

[Almighty Salmon]

The port is successful, Nomlas is now with Kris inside one of the cells. Oh, what the hell. He glares at Kris as he puts his various weapons and gadgets back in his pockets. What was that for? We were having a perfectly decent fight!

Kris doesn't answer, still tired from his recent exertion.

Turtle gets a drone to cut through the web. When that's done, she grabs her spork and runs to the security room to see where Kris and Nomlas went.

Lex flutters in to the kitchen, wavering in her flight. Good morning, everyone. *Hiccup* She disappears and reappears a foot behind where she was. She pauses in mid-air, holding her head and slowly descinding.

*Hiccup* she disappears again. This time she reappears two feet to the left & about two feet higher.

Wow, what happened last night? she starts to fly forward again. *Hiccup* she reappears with her face about a pencil span away from the door of the fridge. *Slam* she slides off the front of the door. Ouuuccccchhhhhh! she says slowly.

Khiansa picks her up and casts a sobering spell.
Are you alright?

Fine, be silent. Atleast I don't have to put up with your whiney little voice. Nomlas walks over to the door and starts banging on it. Come on, Sassafrass! I know you're out there, let me out! I promise i'll be.. 'good'. He just manages not to throw up when he says 'good'.

[Ashen Lilies]

Kris slumps against the wall. He's unconscious.

((Deadtime. Feel free to use him as a hostage or bargaining chip or whatever.))

Seeing that Nomlas is safely locked up for now, and not seeing Kris in the shadows of the cell, Turtle starts to get bored. She decides to check in on War Island.
