Waking up with a big yawn, Crumby looks about the chambers and notices that Kinslayer and Valve are missing, Crumby sticks his head out the door and looks left and right. Seeing a commotion down the hall, Crumby saunters down the hall towards the action.

Noting that no one had a mirror, the Kinslayer ducks the obligatory missile. "Never mind, Bruennen." He curses quietly, casts invisibility on himself from his wand, and continues on, hoping to find a point where his skills may be useful. Cursed non-combat situations...

Crumby: you run past the Queen's room, but dont see anything out of the normal. You head over towards where you heard the shriekings.

Lina: You see the Crumby go past you as he hears the screaming. You may wish to call out if you want to.

The group (excluding the above two): Tihana opens the conference door room, and Valve and Kinslayer sneak in quietly. Bruennen comes in from behind. Inside, as you enter, you see Adam turn around. He has 10 guards with him.

I knew you couldn't be trusted! he yells at you guys. No doubt Janis set this up! I will deal with him after I deal with you! Guards! Arrest them!

Roll for intiative please, those who are in combat, and post what you do. Will try to get a map up soon. Might take a while though.

    Top to bottom:
    Bruennen, Tihana, Kinslayer, Valve.

The big brown thing is a table. It is about 5 ft high, but you can climb on it if you want. The smaller brown rectangles are chairs (yes they are. What did they look like to you? ) Only two people can fit on either side of the table before the wall stops you.

Black dots are the guards, orange is Adam.

Fighters are labeld from top to bottom and left to right. starting from 1 going to 10.

Valve sighs, and if he weren't invisible, one could see him look with a loving, grateful look, and run a finger down his face as if to signify a tear- of gratitude, of course. He casts darkness, then slinks over by the edge on the lefthand side of the table to wait for the 1st sucker to walk by.

A grease spell covers a solid surface with a layer of slippery grease. Any creature in the area when the spell is cast must make a successful Reflex save or fall. This save is repeated on your turn each round that the creature remains within the area. A creature can walk within or through the area of grease at half normal speed with a DC 10 Balance check. Failure means it can’t move that round (and must then make a Reflex save or fall), while failure by 5 or more means it falls (see the Balance skill for details).

    ok.

Bruennen steps up onto the table, shouting some might fine words. Lightning crackles the air as all of you feel more powerful. (YAY!)

You don't know exactly where the fighters are, but you hear footsteps and armor clanking coming closer,

Kinslayer casts his spell, but without a target, it is ineffective.

    More fighters move forward.

Tihana casts her spell on the right side of the table, and suddenly, you see s lick oil covering the ground.

More fighters move forward, and one of the slips on the oil, covering the ground. This effectively makes him visible, so Valve takes the chance, and effectively stabs the man on the ground, making him cry out.

The fight on the other side of the table charges Bruennen, but misses, and suddenly he is visible.

You hear Adam muttering another spell, but fail to see him.

    Actions?

Lina/Crumby: you hear shouting and the sounds of fighting as you move closer to the conference hall. Next turn, you shall be in battle.
