Oh, it was because of... okay, that makes sense. I always thought they broke due to some D&D rule I didn't know of (like, miss with a 1, your weapon may break, or something).

The whole square got the blue wall treatment. Why do we only get to see how complains reacts to it. Aren't the other goblins also within the area of effect? I mean, the sergeant got his armour from complains shield and then started to fight Big Ears. So they still have to be close.

It's one of the heads that came from the shield of wonders, I've heard someone in the thread mention that it's based on the "pit fiend"; not sure how accurate that statement was, though.

I'm guessing that anyone who touches the head will transform like a few guards did?

Seriously, I thought the comic was supposed to be about the weak against the strong. That doesn't help if the so-called weak are supported by overpowered artifacts, multiple plot devices, and a huge roll-for-random-effects table.

To be fair, they are up against Elite Guards (just because the guards were also unable to handle Complains on his own when he wasn't using the shield, it may not mean they are completely useless ). I'd agre that it doesn't make up for that sickness line (it would if Saves a Fox was hit by the wall).

If I ever start doing Goblins strip slays, the amount of "It hurts like a sickness!" slays will probably equal that of the Groin Puncer, or at least dead Luna ones.

I'll try to save that comic if I can thanks ("It hurts like a sickness" has kind of grown on me, though; it's kind of like "Do a barrel roll" or "suffer like G did".
