Spotting the critter that's right on top of them, Dani takes a quick step back and fishes a potion out of her belt pouch, quickly gulping it down.

Alex shakes her own head. "This just isn't right. What did I promise to myself last time? You don't need to fear undead. Ancient intelligent undead make good source of history." she mumbles to herself.

She then straighten her body up, lowers her leather fedora, and watches her surrounding from the tip of her hat. Then she smiles. Or attempts to.

"Don't worry, Dani. We're professional adventurer."

With a quick flick, she spins her small ukulele that's hanging on her shoulder and land it on her hands.

And a song echoes in the hall.

That axe is definitely sticking into something vital for humans... I do not think Darren will survive this - I'd better do something.

Concerned for Darren's safety, Kritios decides to whisk Darren through time, protecting him from further injury.

Let your mind drift into the future, Darren. If you die, it will not be at this moment.

As he says this, Kritios' eyes glow with intense silvery light and a rushing low hum briefly fills the ears of those nearby. Presuming that the power is successful, Darren disappears with a flash of silvery light, safe from harm.

Casting Time Hop for 5 pps, sending Darren 5 rounds into the future. He will arrive at the same position (if possible) and still on -2HPs (not stabilised). If he is allowed a will save, it would be DC17, although he can choose to fail the save.
Hopefully, someone can heal him in five rounds time. Either way, things should be a little more peaceful by then.

Dani shrieks at seeing Darren going down, and throws out her hand at the undead critter nearest her, a swarm of tiny, razor-sharp crystals materialising and slashing at it.

As Kritios is struck by the undead creature, something marvellous happens. With an apparent expenditure of concentration, Kritios seems to be unharmed by the blow that would almost certainly have floored him - he doesn't even flinch!

Content that Darren is safe, Kritios attempts his mind magic again - this time focussing on the creature that has attacked him. He takes a step back (to where Krone was) as another rising pithc announces the energies that burst against the undead thing in front of Kritios.

Using enhanced resilience, Kritios expends 5 PPs to negate 20 points worth of damage rendering him uninjured. He then takes a 5 foot step back and manifests concussion blast for (2d6)[4] damage (no save)

But the cathartic effect of playing a raising tune is still with her. Alex releases her grip from her ukulele and whipped her... whip toward the charging skeleton's weapon, trying to disarm it and stopping it from mashing her face.

Ah, I managed to open my locked mythweaver account (Damn passwords. It seemed that I have worse memory than I previously thought) and found out that the total attack bonus for Alex' whip was supposed to be 7, plus 1 from the inspire courage, making it 20+8 instead of 20+4.

Tripping the oncoming creature, it sprawls at your feet, it's weapon lying underneath it. Krone's subsequent axe to the head causes a messy decapitation. Its comrade behind it fails to notice, and steps over the headless corpseman. The other undead, frustrated by Kritios' attack and his refusal to be dead, swings again.

It stumbles, but stays where it is. It turns to face Krone, it ignores its weapon, lunging at him with its bare hands instead.
