LKG is in M6, under the bridge (ruling: Bridge does not extend all the way down, but instead is more like a large plank extending across, with the ability to pass under it. Reason: Map has undershading of ground below, which would not exist if the bridge extended all the way down.

Rock pillar is 15 feet tall, which is enough to block LOS even for large creatures.

During movement of Hughes, the Ridge at P7/Q7 blocks LOS to the lower level of M6, as does the ridge at O6.

As of the end of this check, LKG is on the lower level, R8, hiding with a total result of 27.

As of the end of this check, Hughes is mounted, occupying U11/V12.

There's no squeezing in M6, I was looking at M7. If you look really carefully, you can make out the terrain beneath M7 (and M6), which is mostly lava (for M6, not mostly lava).

I've checked all movement since the last LOS check; there is No LOS during that time for you.

EDIT: I think I can guess: scroll of Shield and Shield of Faith (either one alone wouldn't be enough). If so I should be able to see the effects of the shield and deflection bonus to AC (the dagger sort of veers of target, I don't think I'll see the shield on this one, deflection affects it first).

EDIT 2: I mean, I wouldn't know what spells it was (my character wouldn't), but I'd know that he's harder to hit.
