Between the 20 foot, unceremonious free-fall, the blast from the lich, and the previous damages--he was rather unresponsive. A life-like doll, as it were, only this one could bleed, and well--did.

Did you see the negative? Besides... With the falling damage (below), there would be no struggle. I would also like to argue the point OoC that the crushing of the wind pipe is superfluous. Mathias did not hurt, nor even hit Lester and Lester's trying to destroy any chance of revival, whilst when Mathias his the Lich, Mathias was blasted with one of the lower spells. Serious problems with this.
