I'm glad there weren't any punches pulled or doubt left in this comic. Made it a blooping good one.

What in the world does "seal up the rubble in the city too" mean? I presume the panel shows the remnants of Webinar's camp... or is Parson destroying the city between the Outer Wall and the Garrison Wall?

Perhaps, but he has died a lot on the inside. Even were I a Sizemore Fan, I would probably have preferred he find solace in the grave.

That was the camp inside of Gobwin Knob's walls where Parson's forces were the night before. Sizemore said that collapsing the tunnels might collapse the entire city... Just goes to show how good Sizemore is, and how serious they are about winning.

Who thinks the Tool will hose things up before Parson utterly crushes the opposition? On a subsequent turn, if not the current one?

Parson's still Parson if he still cares about what words he can use. If he's got his sword belted, then apparently "ruthlessness" doesn't interfere with other aspects of his personality.

I don't think Parson is aware of or worrying about Sizemore's morale right now, but I'm guessing Sizemore has a good loyalty score, so Sizemore's personal problems will remain his own.

Parson was ordering Sizemore to collapse the entrance to the tunnels at the base of the mountains (which is what is happening in panel 10), and to start cleaning up the city, which has been damaged, presumptively by tunnel collapses (take a look at panel 9, what does that look like to you?).

Also, I think that this this cements Dora and Webinar as Mauve Shirts.

Well, the entire song he had his troops sing to taunt Ansom the night before this battle. Testes in particular, the rest was mostly innuendo.

I love how the whiplash goes from the under-tunnels emotionally charged fight, and Parson in his tower happy with glee he can use a word.

Parson is the perfect evil overlord, if we didn't see so much of him. In the same way its easy to peg charlie as "Neutral Neutral", since we don't see the inner workings of his base, it would be super easy to see parson as Neutral Evil and Ansom as Lawful Good. Amazing what perspective can do.

Things still aren't so good for Parson I think. He's gained a few advantages here...namely trimming down Ansom's troops and forcing him to attack from one front instead of two. He croaked a couple of warlords and gained a bunch of bodies for Wanda to uncroak, and I'm sure that the alliance is pretty ticked at Jetstone for leading them into a disaster. Still, Lord Hamster is pretty outnumbered...

"PK" as a sound effect? I love it. Sizemore angst? Not so much love. But still awesome.

Pozzolana? Apparently, some kind of natural (volcanic ash) or artificial (bauxite trash and clay) cement. Interesting.

What else but cement would you use to heal a golem?

Nods, some kind of healing/patch spell on the rock golem, similar to the McCoy/Horta thing in The Devil In The Dark. :)

Wanda now has warlords to uncroak. That will help with leadership bonus's that the Parson's troops see. Additionally, I don't know if Moral is included in this system, but guys fighting their undead leader can't be good.

Anyone else think that a 'Sorry Sizemore, I know/understand your convictions in this matter but it we have to obey our Duty' would help? Or even 'I'm sorry, but I've played through the scenarios and believe it or not this is the one that produces the least casualties.' Platitudes though they may be, Sizemore seems like a nice guy, the sort who'd appreciate the effort.

Might make him hate Parson less, in the long run.

Then again, I guess he could see through them and hate Parson more.

If Sizemore is sealing the tunnels, does that mean they're not going to make a sortie after all...?

Yeah, two "players" got killed just now, from the sounds of Webinar's death scream. Sorry, should have spelled it out, instead of assuming everyone knew.

On the other hand... Go Wanda, go Wanda, GO! GO! GO! Uncroak them warlords, LOL

...I don't know what kind of a stupid creature from stupid world a "Spider" is, but that is a glorious "Spidew".

Spidew. Much cooler name, see? Honestly, I don't wanna know what you call Dwagons.

Now that the tunnels are sealed off from further attack, I wonder if phase 2 is to move all the units to the outer walls to defend against the next wave of attacks. I wonder how many of those Jetstone units that are dead can be controlled by Wanda as uncroked...

In the scene with Sizemore before the battle, he had a chance... and he left to go talk to Wanda. Of course, he was going to have to do that at some point before the turn started, but the fact that he got up and did it right then was clearly avoiding something he didn't want to deal with.

As for the "Ruthlessness" effect of his sword, that could refer to the ability to be cold-blooded (without resorting to such "I don't want to talk about it" evasions) in person. Note that, when it comes to violence at a psychologically safe distance, he was already ruthless ("Croak, not capture").

I'm not sure if he has a serious plan to get the Arkenpliers, or if he was simply raising the possibility to buy time vis-a-vis Charlie.
