Handing over the elf's backpack, Moogy congratulates his comrade. He may not fully trust the elf yet, but he knows good courageous work when he sees it, and he appreciates it.

"Nice work, elf!" he begins. "Not sure I'd a' thought of the ol' 'hide under a tent' thing there, but it sure worked!" he adds, making sure to jab the elf just a little. Don't wanna give a 'pointy ear' too much credit, he thinks to himself and smiles.

"So, who ya got there?" he queries, turning to old man that has joined their debacle.

"Bah! Intr'ducins ken wait, I guess...yeah, let's get movin' to try to find the others. I hope they found good cover, and ain't in too bad a' shape."

"B'fore I ferget...I saw some ruins back there...up North a bit." he explains to Larry. "It might be a good spot ta hole up and rest, once'n we gather up the rest of the troops. Whadd'ya think? Think it might be some shelter? Some of these here woods are a' creepin' me out a tad....just a tad."

"Who knows...well maybe you know...what lives in this mess. Why's it gotta be spooky forests? Where's a good gritty range a' hills when ya need 'em?" he smiles and forces a chuckle, trying to inject a little lightheartedness to their current situation.

Skipveig scratches his beard in thought for a moment and nods his head,
"Perhaps it would be best if we get to the ruins. It's probably safer there than out here"

Larry looks at them both and says " I don't trust the ruins or the forest here.But we will have to go into that forest there to get the others." Larry point to the forest he saw the other run into. Larry starts to walk along the road to the forest the other went into. " I'll lead you 2 follow." Larry thinks to him slef if this is how this starts out in this new land i hate to see whats in the forest and that ruin over. Larry makes a lite laugh.

"Ok, we'll follow ya, 'Lar'." piped Moogy.

"By tha way, old chap" he adds, turning to the new member of this rag-tag crew. "I hopes ya got yer best runnin' slippers on. Gonna have ta huff it to keep up with our tent-wearing pointy-eared leader, here."

Moogy truly believes that Larry made a good call using the tent as cover, but he sure doesn't want to lose the image of an elf hiding under a tent, while running across a field, too soon. That one will keep him wearing a crooked smile for quite some time.

Skipveig continues with the others, weapons drawn, looking around cautiously.

Upon closer examination these woods are as they appeared wildly overgrown which will slow movement through the woods for most there being much undergrowth to trip those who are un-wary the forest seams teaming with wildlife until you step within the forest. Very shortly afterwards there is an eerie silence and nearly every noise seams to carry.
<Please tell me how you are planning on searching the forest? Random walking about? Circular? Follow edge to the south? Follow the northern edge to the east?>

The 3 Phaedric, Tyrielle, and Hana all continue to sleep in their hidden piece of the forest.

Another scene begins to play itself before Phaedric's eyes. He sees a...a snowflake, tumbling through the wind. And suddenly, he begins to see so much more. The snowflake seems to be getting larger, very quickly, and part of him is afraid that it will consume him. He begins to make out a setting on the snowflake. There's a mountain to the north, and a city south of there. Lots of people going about their business. The people all have strange, upturned noses. A voice, out of nowhere, begins to narrate. "Every Who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot, but the Grinch, who lived just north of Whoville, did NOT!" The voice begins to fade away, and the snowflake starts to get smaller again. The last thing Phaedric sees before the whole thing fades away is...a green man standing on the mountain...

He turns looks back at the dwarf and the old man for a moment then seaming to think aloud "well I doubt either of you could move quickly though that dense underbrush and even less likly that either wouldnt raise enough noise for the dead to walk. so I guess we should keep to the edge of the woods here but in a bit to keep those flying beasts from Raising up again i guess we'll take it slow. Also with the numbers of wounds I saw before the horde set in full swing, I doubt they went deep in anyways." his eyes look down to the dwarfs legs. "As i'm sure there are roots larger then those nubs you call legs." with that he turns and steps into the woods with near no sound but obvously holding his skills back some to allow the others to folow him



Tyrielle:
Will stur from her Reverie and look at the other party members again seeing Phaedric in the trance of another dream she sighs wondering how long it will take them to awake so she can move from this wood. She then moves and checks each of them closer for signs of wounds re-opening or of fevor or poison. Finding none she checks the Camo and re-positions some of the foiliage before returning to her perch.

"An' there he goes again." Moogy motions to the old man.

"That elf'll lose ya quick if yer not payin' 'ttention." he warns.

"Wait up, Larr...we're comin'!" he barks to the elf and huffs his way just inside the edge of the woods.

Larry continues moving through the trees keeping to the inner edge only deep enough to keep the cliff out of sight but pausing from time to time to peek out to see if the stirges are active, when finding them not active he continues on keeping silent, and his pace slow enough for the others to folow through the dense underbrush. though slightly unnerved by the lack of local wildlife.. or at least the noises one would expect them to make


Tyrelle settles back down again hoping her companions will soon wake with thier wounds healed enough to move having heard some larger creatures moving though the woods a bit deeper though unable to identify them thus far.

Skipveg shivers.
"Something here is not right," he mutters under his breath as he hurries along to keep up with the others.

Larry continues to move through the woods at his slowed up pace keeping as silent as possible, but failing to obviously so with how much the brush is damaged in the area. Pausing to listen till he crosses a disturbance in the local fauna he studies it closely and turns into the woods leading deeper suspecting he has reached his destination he turns and looks back at Skipveg and Moogy then motions for silence. Then he uses Warrior Chant to try and hand signal his Companions.

He pauses a moment to see if his hand signs are understood before continuing ~Friend. close ahead~
He pauses for another short time then motions obviously for Skipveg to move forward and get behind him and moogy closer to where he indicated the "~Friend~" was.

Hana continues her guard over her incapacitated companions of chance or design still unsure how to fathom what the ragtag group was sent here to stop and such a broad range of Evil and to be told so little of it. Suddenly she senses motion nearby and readies herself for what ever may be approaching.

Guess intrest in my campaign has lapsed too much as its been weeks sence more then one member has posted on here i have tried to keep it going by taking over abandoned charicters but guess that wasnt enough i am still willing to continue if enough members show intrest still in the campaign please send me a MSG in the ooc area if you want me to continue but at this point i'm about to give up dispite my best efforts. If we do end i thank all of you for the time you did put in and appologise that i was unable to hold your intrests.
