Sooooo sloooooow....

We seem to be experiencing some serious lag issues on the server, to the point where I thought it had crashed because my conenciton was timing out.

If you are experiencing really long delays accessing the message boards, post here and say so. I want to see if this is just me, or widespread.

I was experiencing some issues like that myself. But I would then reload the page and it would load incredibly fast.

Though, as of recent, the pages would take a while to load, but would load on the first attempt.

Its a little slow on my end too Giant...long delay when loading the site. Once I am on, however, things move fairly fast.

I had assumed it was my net connection at work, actually, because I've been having issues other places besides here. But yes, I've been experiencing lag today here.

There was, in fact, an issue today. My logs show that the server was under attack, the attack has ended.

It's going reaaaaalllly slow, and the banner with the foot prints isn't showing up anywhere on the site.

Could you guys who are computer savvy define long to me as a computer know nothingm like the site loads in in under a minute usually 15 seconds and under. That is good right??

Like Enworld takes a minute and half to load up.

My general expectation is 5 seconds or so. But I'm on a cable connection at home, and even better than that at work.

OK So with mine being a dailup at 56K I moving fast enough for me. After all I sarted using the computer at the shop in 1991 with a 2800bps modem so anything seems lightening fast to that time peroid.

wow, the site is being insanely slow today.

The site has always seemed rather slow to me, however I got Mozilla yesterday and while I still generally prefer IE then this stie seems to be much faster in Mozilla...
