Yeah, I'm also kinda wondering what happened time-wise. Everyone seems to be anticipating Roy's departure, but why? It's also stated it's been weeks since Roy returned from the Oracle, but how much in-comic time has gone on since that strip?

Also, Roy seems to continually ask what time it is, as can be gathered from the archon's response. What are the chances of Roy having visited the Oracle asking him when he was going to be resurrected?

And a nice "In your face!" for all #600 freaks. ;) Though I can't deny I was anticipating something big too.

Edit: For all those who didn't understand how could it possibly be 3 years: Roy's not dead for 3 years. His mother is dead for 3 years, so he didn't eat anything she cooked in those 3 years she was dead.

I think that it may just be that Roy has been constantly checking how long he had been practicing.
I also think he had been training with Horace for a long time without Scrying on Haley and doesn't know about the golem and thieves guild situations.

Yep, we were well and truly due for a change of pace (and scenery) about now. Question is, will this be the real thing for Roy, or just a false alarm?

Also, there's no way that #666 will be up in time for October 31st this year (surely the most appropriate date for it)... But that date needn't be thrown out the window if the year changes...

Hey but remember, this doesn't mean Roy is about to get raised. Roy just suspects that by this time Haley and Celia have gotten to Cliffport.
They still have to find a way to get Roy's skeleton back! Then they still have to find a high level cleric who can cast the spell. For the time being, it doesn't seem like there aren't any clerics that can help them out.
