Re: OOTS #600 - The Discussion Thread
I totally wish Roy'll finally get resurrected. Although, that would most likely mean the next dozen strips would be just showing how they ended up finally resurrecting him, so meh...
Don't get me wrong, I love the strip more than ever but I'm kind of anxious to see the Order finally together again.
Oh the suspension....

Awesome ;) Great reference to all the mad theories about what was gonna happen in Strip 600. Hopefully this means Roy will return to life soon...

Heck of a non sequiter. We all sure got told!
I suspect the plot is immediately gonna snap back to where it was before, like it did when Gary Gygax died."They couldn't know that the points from the mainline to the siding were frozen, and the signal should have been set at 'DANGER', but snow had forced it down."

Re: OOTS #600 - The Discussion Thread
I saw this coming. There are way to many loose ends for any one of them to be resolved in 600. An anticlimax was the only way to go. To keep spoilers to a minimum, I scrolled down the page slowly, reading each line of panels before moving on. The last panel hit about as hard as the time Roy hit the ground in 443.

Rich! You're killing me. Seriously. I gotta stop reading this comic and wait for you to release another 200 comics and maybe something will actually happen... this is getting to be like reading Robert Jordan...at one page a week.

Re: OOTS #600 - The Discussion Thread
Hey, who's that bald guy walkin' around up in the clouds talkin' to a lightbulb? I sure don't remember anyone like that in this comic, and I've been here since the beginning!
He must be a new NPC.
(LOL, nice 600th. Gratz on ya!)For another fantasy webcomic with Dungeons and Dragons, read Heroes of Lesser Earth now, before it becomes cool and everyone starts doing it!

Sorcerers get no respect, even from meat shields.
I can imaging Roy's reaction when he finds out how much the situation with the Order has gone from bad to worse....

Ah, I love that new comic smell. This is the oots I've come to know and love. Thanks giant. Can't wait to see Roy use some of those moves.

Re: OOTS #600 - The Discussion Thread
Ahahah! That was funny. Nice to see that Roy has learned the pre-feat stuff for Horace's anti-spellcaster moves. That should come in handy. Also, yes! Jamablaya! I LOVE that stuff, though I've never actually had Mom-balaya, I'm always the one to make it.
Awesome Avatar by Shattersnap.
Spoiler
Many thanks to El Goonish Shive for the banner image.
Give a player a fish, and he’ll probably try to sell it to an NPC fisherman.
Teach a player to fish, and next week he’ll show up with the book, “The Complete Adventuring Fisherman”. He’ll start hunting for some monstrous leviathan to catch and enslave, and he’ll be dual-wielding two fishing poles.
