Re: Erfworld 127 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 115
It was mentioned that kingdoms split up sometimes, but probably they stay in the same tribe. I guess the tribe determines the "theme" of a kingdom. Faq was somehow far east theme (just look at Jillians uniform and the cloths of Jack in his first appearance as Faq Unit), Jetstone seem to be somehow "middle-age" themed. The other commanders of the coalition look similar, probably other kingdoms of the Jetstone tribe.

Re: Erfworld 127 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 115
I think we need to define "Tribe" "Side" and "City".
Stanley is from the Plaid tribe, His side has been reffered to as "Gobwin Knob", which is also the name of that sides capital city.
Ansom is from the Jetstone tribe, and his side has been reffered to as Jetstone, but his capital city is spacerock.
Charlescomm and Translyvito have also been refered to as Sides, but we don't know if those corespond to tribes.

Re: Erfworld 127 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 115
For some reason, I still want to see Parson snack on gwiffons and eat Marbits for breakfast while in Erfworld. Did the Luckmancy Charms count?

Re: Erfworld 127 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 115
I think "tribe" indicates where a unit popped while, while "side" is what the unit is actually fighting for. A unit could fight for the king, the city, the tribe or the warlord. What I'm, trying to say is that a "side" is a very general term that identifies one group of interest which is supposed to remain stable for some time and can be described through various attributes.

Re: Erfworld 127 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 115
I think that's over-complicating it a bit.
Tribe: related to the "ancestry" of the kingdom (or equivalent) or maybe city you were popped in. (akin to real world ethnicity)
City: A place where units are popped.
Side: A kingdom (or equivalent) or alliance of kingdoms (or equivalent)
So at the moment We have three sides: Gobwin Knob, Royal Crown Coalition, and Transylvito/Jillian. Each side has multiple cities and multiple tribes represented.
