Re: Foog Campaign
Into Round 2
Brazzil moves into the fray, splattering a rat with his warhammer while doing so.
Spoiler
Rat in I7 is now goo.
Feel free to move onto to Round 2 actions. I'll NPC Torgun and Caladyr if they haven't acted by tonight. Assume Torgun moves to H2 to shore up the south flank while Caladyr stays back at range.

Re: Foog Campaign
Kaleras
Kaleras really wished he didn't miss with that missile. He also remembers his uncle telling him how that spell was so fantastic because it never missed!
But that was back in the day...
Recalling that he's in a pitched battle with vermin, Kaleras regains his bearings from his reverie.
Spoiler
Woohoo, we made it!
Well, to Round 2, anyway...

14 - Kaleras
13 - Drats
11 - Moltor
11 - Brazzil
03 - Kagan
00 - Torgun
00 - Caladyr
With a whispered prayer to Corellon and a gulp audible over the sounds a swarm of rats makes, Kaleras steps forward and attempts something foolish.
Spoiler
Moves southeast one square (to H3).
Casts Thunderwave at rats in squares I3 - I5, J3 - J5, and K3 - K5, drawing an opportunity attack from Grats I3 and I4.

Round 2 contd..
Spoiler
Torgun steps into H4 and slice a rat in half. Caladyr steps forward and nails a rat to the ground with a well placed arrow.
Moltor takes 6 damage as 2 rats bite into his ankles. The pain causes his pillar of light to miss a rat.
Brazzil and Kagan both manage to fend off the rats without getting bit.
Torgun takes 3 damage as a rat catches a piece of his arm.
Kaleras steps forward and prepares to cast his spell. One rat jumps onto his arm while he's casting doing 3 damage. With a loud crack he blasts 5 of the smaller rats in the river. The remaining rats move forward to fill the space and miss their attacks.
Brazzil, Kagan, Torgun and Caladyr still have to act this round

Round 3
Spoiler
Caladyr lets loose another arrow that catches a rat on Moltor right between it's red beady eyes. Brazzil takes a swing at the large rat near him but misses.
The rat in front of Kaleras leaps at him but misses.
The two rats in front of Torgun jump on his chest biting him for 8 damage. He also feels a foul sensation enter his body, sapping his strength. With a whirl of his greatsword, he cuts deep into the larger of the rats while cleaving the smaller one in two.
Kagan continues his duel with the dire vermin near him with neither side gaining any ground.
The rat on Moltor's ankle bites deeper dealing 3 damage. The pain makes his warhammer swing go wide.
The two rats next to Brazzil try to find a weakness in the dwarf cleric's defenses but fail miserably.
Torgun loses a healing surge and needs to make an Endurance check.
Round 3 begins!

Re: Foog Campaign
Torgun lets our a bellow in response to the wounds and attempts a Passing Attack on two of the large rats.
Spoiler
Not sure if you needed an Initiative roll or not Init: (1d20)[18]
Endurance Check: (1d20+8)[14]
Passing Attack, Encounter Power: Standard Action. Hit Rat in I4 (1d20+8)[14] vs. AC, Damage: (1d10+4)[14]
If that hits the target it is Marked (-2 to Hit, if it shifts or attacks somene else, Combat Challenge gives me an immediate interrupt basic melee attack).
Passing Attack allows me to shift 1 square to I5 and make a secondary attack on the Rat in I6
Passing Attack, Second Attack: (1d20+10)[19] vs. AC, Damage: (1d10+4)[11]
If that hits the target it is Marked (-2 to Hit, if it shifts or attacks someone else, Combat Challenge gives me an immediate interrupt basic melee attack).
I only get one Immediate Interrupt per round, so I'll use it on the first one to to trigger it, if either of them do.
Move Action: Shift to J5
Combat Challenge Immediate Interrupt (if needed) To Hit: (1d10+8)[12], Dam: (1d10+7)[10]
Hope I got all this right. :)

Re: Foog Campaign
Addendum, Incorrect Roll, clarification on ability usage.
Spoiler
The Shift and Second Attack in the Passing Attack only occurs if I hit with the first attack.
If I don't hit with the first Passing Attack, I won't make the shift with my move action, I'll stay where I am.
The Immediate Interrupt Roll was incorrect (1d10 to hit).

Re: Foog Campaign
Round 4
Spoiler
With the rats numbers diminishing, the initial fury of their assault is diminished. With Kagan and Torgun attracting the bulk of the attention, the rats to the south fail to land anymore bites.
Caladyr's next arrow misses the remaining rat on Moltor's ankle. Moltor however manages to step on the rat's tail, trapping him as he brings his warhammer on the rat's back crushing it.
Torgun's head spins from the earlier bite wound causing his sword swing to go wide against the dire rat in front of him. His assault though distracts the rodents long enough to allow Kaleras'spell casting to go off unhindered blasting the smaller one to pieces while sending the larger one sliding away.
Kagan's axe swing connects solidly with his adversary taking out a chunk of fur and flesh this time (along with some ground as well). The rat is hardy though and continues fighting.
Brazzil's brings his hammer down at a nearby rat but misses wide. A bolt of radiant light leaps from his hammer to Torgun giving him a restorative surge of energy (Torgun can spend a healing surge)
Round 4 begins!

Like Rats Fleeing A Sinking...
Spoiler
With most of the rats lying limp on the ground, the remaining dire rats start to flee.
Torgun's, Brazzil's and Caladyr's attacks go wide while Kaleras' frozen landscape only manages to catch the one dire rat in it's grip. The giant rat tries to run for the safety of the darkness only to find itself set aflame by Moltor's blast.
Kagan's axe gleams with holy light and dazes his opponent allowing him to deliver a grievous wound to the oversized rodent. The rat's enraged clawing bounces off the minotaur's armor.

Rats Away
Spoiler
Kaleras' arcane bolt wacks the fleeing rodent but doesn't stop his retreat. Brazzil's hammer breaks his opponent's foot and he gets another solid swing in (with Moltor's help) as the rat scurries away slipping and sliding over the slippery frozen surface.
With a screech, the frenzied dire rat leaps at the minotaur paladin's face. Kagan manages to interpose his shield between himself and the wounded vermin while Torgun steps behind the rat and skewers him with his greatsword.
