Bad art aside, I'm actually curios now.

I have to admit, this is actually a twist that I suspected, but never dared speak out loud.

The monologue about how Celesto knows what TIM wants and such... Was never spoken to TIM, who we expected to be after a mundane artifact.

Celesto is fighting The Giant Eye itself, which has possessed the mortal body of TIM and come to consume the entire world, forcing Dominia and the Tentacle Dimension together forever!

Celesto is looking for the knockout on Cthulhu!

For some reason, when I saw todays strip panel I thought "Huh, kinda looks Luna." Then I realized that TIM doesn´t, in fact, look much like Luna, and I´m now confused as to why that was my initial impresion ...

But there is definitely something girly about him now.

It's the ponytail. You've got a monster who has been mutated by a realm of eldritch horror and lost all sanity to the point that now he only speaks in angry scratches, wearing only the tattered rags of the cloth he had when he was sent to the insane dimension; but he's still self-conscious enough to get a nice hairdo.


That said, the interesting detail here is the boot. Apparently, he somehow found a way to replace his missing gauntlet with a matching boot.

Haha, yes. When I first saw this splash page I started laughing. It is seriously the least evil thing ever. TIM would have been better off keeping his eyes covered. I liked the last page better than this one, and I wasn't all that impressed with the last page.

Not quite the technical art failure this time.
However this page, is like when one of those bad horror movies where instead of freaking you out, the monster is just so stupid makes you laugh, only this isn't quite that good.
It is just stupid.

I think the Leela face is more intimidating because it says "I'm going to kick your butt and you know it" rather than "BLARGARARARHAHAHAHA BZARAHALHDFLJK ADSLFHALDKFJ I LIKE CHICKEN.... ALSO CYCLOPEAN."

How the heck did he fit all that hair under this hood?

And I KNEW it! HE HAD TWO EYES when he was first shown returning (That or his one eye started on the left side of his face then slowly grew to take over).

Another oddity, compare this to this. I guess Dominic didn't actually see Siggy possessing Scarlatti's friends, otherwise he either forgot or is just being a jerk. Probably just being a jerk.

Thank god that Mookie finally gave us a panel to link to whenever someone says "Mookie's art isn't bad - it's his style!"

This. This is the worst art Mookie has ever drawn. I mean, it was bad when Mookie made a coloring error here with Luna's leg, but Mookie didn't even try to draw Dex's leg. There is no possible error of perception or handwaving that can show that Mookie meant to include Dex's leg. There's not even room in the art to show Dex's leg. Mookie just plain forgot to finish his drawing. It's a goddamn leg - you can't even write this off as "a minor part of the picture that he missed."

And worst of all? Dex's leg has been replaced with an Inappropriate Ass Shot. That means that Mookie wanted this IAS so bad that he decided to not draw an entire limb of a character.
