Svendren holds up his hand. "Wait, didn't she say she'd be at where we went in?"

Shagga looks at the Hobgoblin for a second, and then nods. "Your right, of course. I simply wanted to get him out of here as soon as possible." He then follows the others back out towards the main enterance to the sewers.

"Understandable," Svendren nods and sets off for the entrance.

The entrance is not a long way away, but when you finally get there it is raining hard. Celine sits on the side of the street, hugging herself for warmth and mainly looking pathetic and miserable.

Svendren calls out to her. "Celine, we found your boy, and not a moment to soon."

Hlethiuk pockets the thunderstones and money, and follows Svendren out the sewers. As Svendren speaks with Celine, he hangs back, watching the scene play out.

Celine looks up at Svendren when she hears his voice. She looks at the child, staring at him for a few seconds. Finally she says, "This isn't him."

Svendren looks puzzled, gazing from woman to boy before realizing the utter lack of familial resemblance. He crouches down and asks the mystery boy in a gentle voice, "Were there any other boys with you?"

"Were there any that looked like this lady here?" Svendren asks and points to Celine.

The child stares into space, too horrified to say anything. A short slim man comes out of an empty tavern across the street, carrying a mug. He hands it to Celine. "Are these the ones you were talking about?" She nods. He helps her to her feet and says to you, somberly, "You'd better come inside. You'll get sick standing out in the rain." He walks Celine into his tavern.

Svendren follows with the child. Maybe some food would help him out.

Hlethiuk follows a bit behind Svendren, only showing mild interest, and hoping Celine will give some sort of reward.

Kayleen seems especially shaken up from her experience with the fear-inducing spell, as if she had never felt such fear before. With a residual fear in her eyes, she watched the others help the little boy. She silently follows the others into the tavern.

The tavern is empty except for you. The man pulls out seats for you in front of the fireplace. There is a long awkward silence. Finally, Celine says, "What exactly happened in there? Did you see him?"

Svendren sighs, "Not much, we interrupted a sacrifice, this one here," he gestures towards the boy, "would be sitting on a pike if we hadn't. We cleaned up the cultists but a dwarf got away, he looked important. I'm sorry, we didn't see your boy but there were other children, already dead. They may have moved your boy though." The last sentence holds a lam e attempt at false hope.
