Reaching for her hat, she placed it atop her head, throwing her orange coat over her shoulder, before poofing out of the base.

"The solution was that I told him to leave. And he did. I don't think he can force someone to be his mother."

She frowns at Rabbit's disappearing form. "Be careful, Sis."

As soon as Rabbit poofs out, Alex throws out a thought that he'd obviously been mulling over.
"And perhaps we should get some sort of anti-poofing security"

He thinks over what turtle said for a fraction of a heartbeat.
"Well, that got him out of here, but hes still out there. Does he need a GLoGer, or will Sally Sue Civilian do the trick?"

"I don't know how. A powerful wizard named Tessa did the dimension lock on the detention wing, but she left some time ago."

"I'm not exactly a mage, and magic is outside of my area of expertise. Can't affect that by directly meddling with brain-waves."
Alex stands and streaches.
"I need to shut-eye a bit."
With that, he goes to the lab and deadtimes.

Dr. Beit goes to the infirmary. He wakes George up. So George. I hear you've decided to start taking hostages now?

He sits down. Would you like to talk about it?

"What would I say? I hate her for killing him instead of trying to redeem him. I thought that's what we were here for."

Turtle thinks about going to bed, but the steps are so intimidating and... yeah... she just lays down on the sofa where she's already sitting and falls asleep.

Dr. Beit sits down. How do you know she didn't try? Did she tell you that? Did you ask?

Alek had to die because there was no other choice. If he had been allowed to live, then his mind would have eventually broken even further, taking the minds of anyone he ever contacted and many more with his.

"Not if we could have saved him!" George yells at the image.

He turns back to the doctor. "You see? They didn't even try. Darkcomet and Turtle decided that Alek had to die."

You seem to be forgetting who I am. I'm no hero, George. Never will be. I'm the one who decided he had to die, for two reasons. The first was to save myself from the coming psionic Nova. The second was that I saw what I could become in him, and I hated it.

Dr. Al Beit will put up his Psychic Bubble, which will hopefully keep DarkComet's psychic powers out of the infirmary.

Now, George. He said that he decided to kill Alek. Let's hear Turtle's side of the story, shall we? Dr. Al Beit winks out. He will reappear next to Turtle in the Main Room.

May I take you in to speak with George, for a second? Or would that be too much for you?

"Of course." Turtle says, and goes with him.

Ask her George. Ask her what she was thinking about when she attacked Alek. Dr. Beit stands at the ready to defend Turtle, if need be.

"Well?" George asked, his eyes accusing.

"Honestly? I wasn't thinking. I was in battle rage. But before that, I was thinking that I needed to destroy him before he hurt Melody again, or anyone else I cared about."

"That's what I thought," George says bitterly.

[Lex-Kat]

Turtle. What do you mean by "hurt Melody again"?

He watches George. What did he do to Melody, that would have you so upset, you'd set aside your usually motto of redemption first?

"He broke her mind, again and again. Every time she recovered, he did it again. I begged him to stop, to leave us alone. I told him I would let him have everything in the treasury, if he would just leave us our minds. But he wouldn't. If he'd asked for help, I would have given it, but he never asked." She looked at George. "Why didn't you ask? Why didn't you tell us what was going on? No, never mind, he probably put blocks in your mind to stop you."

"I didn't tell you because I knew you'd lock me up if you knew. Like you did."

"Yes. I did" Turtle looks defiant. "I won't apologize for killing him, and I won't apologize for being glad he's dead. I do apologize for not seeing sooner that you were in distress and trying to help. Doctor, can I go now?"

Dr. Beit takes Turtles hand and will take her where she wishes to go. Thank you, Turtle.

Turtle goes to bed. She's been sleeping a lot lately. Sort of like her player.
