    ((There is the extra caveat that the programmer must have the Skill, Feat, or Talent in question himself, since I doubt we have access to the sfotware that allows us to bypass that on the Shadow.

    I suggest junking WF (Saber) for Dual Weapon Mastery II-Rada has this, and is quite capabel of doing the programming. Also, train the Initiatve skill.

    And, if tiem and resources permit, I would like to add a locked access to prevent an easy shutdown.))

    Look, I did this quick and sloppy because he was only supposed to be a throw-away antagonist. I only gave him the first, third, and sixth level feats plus the soldier bonus feats, I handwaved the rest. I have the prerogative to do that. I'm trying to give you a droid here, but if you keep fighting it I can still take him away. I should have just told you that you managed to make him friendly and left out the feat rearrangement. That was me trying to be nice. Don't worry about trying to make him work perfectly. He's probably still not long for this world. Let's just get on to Rhen Var.

    ((Quick Draw is neither on the Nonheroic feat list nor one of the feats gained from Soldier 1, so you can't give it to him as one of those feats. I'll just train Initiative and give you weapon proficiencies (although they're next to useless since he has claws instead of hands and can't wield weapons designed for normal people with them... the sabers are in tool mounts) and call it even. That good?))

    "Why, you're Master Kir Sano of course! Why didn't you tell me you were a Jedi?"


    A few hours (and possibly several more arguments with the simple droid) later you emerge from hyperspace near Rhen Var... only to find yourself with unexpected company. A Ministry-class shuttle showing obvious signs of extensive modification appears out of hyperspace beside your vessel. Given the normal lack of visitors to the abandoned ice planet, the coincidence seems very peculiar, especially since the other ship is a short-haul orbital shuttle by design.

    You have no time to pontificate about its purpose, though, as it removes any doubt by falling on you immediately, guns blazing.

    ((The Bad Idea wins initiative and attacks. DC 17 for Vehicular Combat evasion, 112 damage on a successful hit. Map coming ASAP.))

    Gavik fires back at the ship, using a destiny point for an auto-crit Burst Fire! (If you don't open up with a hail at first, he's gonna slag you!)

    Damage: (7d10+7)[39]x4 (auto-crit!) Total: 156 (If you didn't boost the shuttle's damage limit, it's space dust. Sorry Cee, no hard feelings, just gotta keep alive. If Carth is going to try to Vehicular Combat his way out of this, he's got a DC 23.)

    ((Actually, those were the Minis' stock double laser cannons burst firing, not capship weaponry. I just didn't mention it was burst fire.))

    Carth... *rolls* manages to juke out of the way at the last possible second. The blistering barrage from the Wild Shadow meets only empty space. It does, however, leave a wide black streak across the Bad Idea's wing due to the nearness of the miss.

    "GAH! Those Mandos mean business!"

    he grunts as the concussion missile does what the lasers could not and blasts through the Bad Idea's shields.

    ((Since I didn't use the forum's roller, you have no reason to believe me, but I honestly rolled an 18 on the d20 for Carth's Pilot check vs. Gavik. By the way, before you feel too doomed, remember that the weapons on a Mini are copilot-operated, so you're defending against Rhett Sharat, not Carth. By the way, speaking of defense... you failed to dodge my lasers. 112 damage to you, 82 to me.))

    The Bad Idea attempts to initiate a dogfight, something it can do since both your ships have combat thrusters. You need to beat a 26 Pilot check to avoid being engaged.

    (( OK the 112 damage after slamming in to the shields damage is reduced to 87 then the DR reduced damage to 72. So that leaves.))
    hp 28 of 100; DR 15; SR 20 of 25; Threshold 74

    Realizing that the hit was Very Hard Kir dose the only thing he Can he activates the comm, Wild Shadow to Attacking ship hold your fire. were done.

    ((Wait, what did you just do? Was that a concussion missile? It's pilot operated, you can't fire it. As for the damage output, I fired the stock cannons, 5d10x2, on burst fire, 7d10x2, with a copilot with heroic levels, adding further to the damage, and I rolled well.))

    We'll lower are shields but there's no way for us to transfer are cargo without us landing ths ship. Kir lowers the shields as ordered.

    ((Actually, I believe all ships Colossal or larger have docking clamps enough for mid-space cargo transfers. It's only if you want to go into hyperspace while mated with a vessel that you need to buy the docking clamp accessory. Of course, you could easily just be lying rather than ignorant.))

    Kir gets up and heads down to meet there guest, Come on Rosco we got some unfriendly guest to greet and work to do. one down by the air lock Kir draws his commando special just in case he needs it, then he opens the air lock, and demands, So what is so dam!!, important about my cargo that you had to shot my ship up, i don't even know whats in the Fracking Box!!
