Re: Erfworld 130 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 117
I was rather surprised that Jillian wasn't wiped out by the aggro, as the Archon who was speaking to her at the time was croaked bigtime. This implies a VERY high degree of control to be as selective as that.
And . . . how much damage can that twinkie take before it can't fly? If they were to concentrate on dropping Ansom inside the walls, it would about be the same as a kill, to all intents and purposes. The Truth Will Set You Free. But First, It Will Piss You Off.

Re: Erfworld 130 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 117
Or it could simply mean that archons can inflict a lot of damage but they have relatively few hitpoints. Jillian when on the gwiffon may have a gazillion hitpoints, those peeps look sturdy.
No problem, same here. I just wish we knew more about the rules. There is that strange satisfaction of anticipating the character's next move, but I'm really lost on what to expect from Ansom vs Wanda. Oh well, it will be a nice pleasant surprise, I'm sure.Last edited by teratorn; 2008-11-20 at 01:35 PM.

Capture, not croak. Ansom wants some dungeon slop.

All bets are off, as far as I'm concerned. I do think someone is going to get croaked.

Unless that wall's made out of mud, they're gonna be at it for a while with picks and spades.

Re: Erfworld 130 The Battle for Gobwin Knob, Page 117
I doubt it. A Dwagon captured her in one hit, which I assume requires going through her hit points in some fashion first (capturing would be a bit broken on high-hp units otherwise.) While Dwagons are tough, if one of anything was able to one-hit Jillian, her hp can't be that extreme.
It just seems more likely to me that the air control really does have that fine a degree of control, especially since it's in line with everything else we know about Wanda.
