    Oooh, I like it! I especially like the fact that gender is also random. The only issue I have (not a big one) is that I'm not sure if the chance for each incarnation should be a fraction of a percent equal to 1% divided by the number of other subraces for that race (approximately). It makes it more likey to be reincarnated as a rare race than a common subrace. But this is not very important so it can still be used effectively.

    I really like the table its wild and strange. Must have taken some work to put together.

    One typo I think I saw. "10: Sweettooth Dwarf" doesn't seem to be part of any table.

    Things you might consider. (Based on other reincarnation tables)

    Group similar things in ranges, Goblinoids, kobolds etc...., that way dm's can exclude ranges before the roll. Try for increasing power as the die roll gets higher (or lower). Players and DMs like to know "high is good" etc...

    Your table is heavily biased toward strange creatures. On your table its more rare to come back as an average human than a Half-blood Daelkyr. Some of these races are so rare that reincarnation spells are going to be their chief method of reproduction.

    You might want to split the truly rare races off into a second table. If probability is any part of reincarnation you should bias the table for humans followed by common races etc...

    If I were to use your original table for reincarnation I'd probably move the whole thing into the upper %10 category and have the common races be 90% chance on the first table.

    I can see instances where this would be the perfect table though.

    That's quite the complete list you have there. ^_^ (Is it sad I'll be using this when I try to pick races from now on?)
    Its pretty nice, but if you wanted to give it a stronger bias to normal races you could base it off a d1000 (assuming you have a calculator or a computer hand that can do that) roll, and give a larger range towards normal races.
    And if you wanted to make it even more complicated, you could do the subtypes as d100 rolls and set up ranges so the more common variants are more common.

    In one of our games (lots of people tended to die around us, we were the collateral damage team) and reincarnating the innocent bystanders became a game show. Wish we had this table then, would have been much more entertaining.

    EDIT: Could you link to the Ostili homebrew of yours? I know someone trying to run a half-dwarf half-human character, and it might help.

    Even better, have the players create their characters as normal, then start the game by having them all die and be reincarnated. Tell them what you're planning beforehand, of course, but that would be great fun.

    Ooh, lots of stuff. Looks nice. Maybe it would be an idea to have Karmic effects, so the alignment of the character can affect the outcome.

    I know this thread is a couple years old, but I just found it by googling for alternate reincarnation tables. Just my two cents, it's a really good list, but I agree with others that it needs to give a little more prominence to the standard races (human, elf, etc.). Since the range from 59 to 90 is a reroll range, my suggestion is to get rid of that and expand the standard races a few more percentage points each.
