No problem at all. Oliver wasn't taken into custody because he was a grey, he was taken into custody because he was a foriegner in Schitzotech without the proper paperwork. So, unless he was in High school or on the planar expidition for the entirety of the Age of Dragons, he still could have been there for the Skornbail Incident. And even if he was on the planar expedition, he could have come back to Abroy, or maybe there was no ship, he just fell through a portal and woke up on Schitzotech with some guns pointed at him asking why he just appeared in midair with a flash of light, and does he have his papers.

For this story to work, all we need is for Oliver to have been in Schitzotech for about two weeks. Get's captured, taken to prision. The next day, Gas everywhere, blah blah blah.
