Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
The song that would best fit my character would probably be The Clock, by Joseph Haydn. I just happen to love it and it's joyful.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Does anybody else think we should get crackin' on the Chritsmas Carol pretty soon? December dosen't last that long.....
Should I make the first comic, or somebody with more artistic skills? Is there a narrarator in this story, and if so, who is it? Has everybody decided their characters yet?AVATAR BATTLE ROYALE!

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
That's just the thing, actually.... I never read the book at all.
I've just seen TV shows and stuff parady it all the time. It seems that almost every TV show has had a Chritsmas Carol version of it one time or another, except for serious TV shows like Lost.
I've also seen the Muppet movie of it, but such a long time ago I can barely remember it.AVATAR BATTLE ROYALE!

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
I really don't think a grim reaper's theme song would be any subgenre of metal, even if he is Nameless.
EDIT: And I've never seen or read it in any form. Good thing I've got a minor role, then.Last edited by Ninja Chocobo; 2008-12-05 at 08:45 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
What exactly will be the Christmas Carol mini-plot ? An adaptation of the story, accurate as possible ? Or simply a plot based on the Christmas Carol ?
EDIT: The book is here, if anyone wants to read it.Last edited by Mad Mask; 2008-12-05 at 08:55 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
I was origanally thinking that the mini-plot would just be something loosly based on the Carol and not an exact copy in comic form, but either way is good. I think the exact copy in comic for would be a whole lot harder to make and requires a lot more organization than usual ABR.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Ooh, are we theme songing?
For BRC I'd go with This (Ignore the video, its the only one I could find with the song on it).
For Ven and the Dettas, I don't know.
Edit: hey, I just realized that song would work well for the Exersus Resistance, though that's mostly just because of the "Cutting the head off the imperial serpent" line.Last edited by BRC; 2008-12-05 at 09:17 AM.

I think the CC plot should be a rough adaptation as though by the characters in a play or something.
EDIT: Wow, that song would do really well for the Resistance actually...Last edited by Lyinginbedmon; 2008-12-05 at 10:44 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Well, Q is the main character, so he should go first. Whenever someone is going to be introduced, they make their introduction comic. We should divide up the comic like I said earlier. Make a list, then claim them. This is not the list, it's just an example.
1: Scrooge talks to his nephew.
2: Scrooge sees Marley
3: ~3-4 comics for each ghost
4: ~3-4 comics saying I LOVE THE WORLD!
5:???
6. Profit!
Then you'd claim them in the thread. We'll make enough individual comics for everyone. Now, since one comic after another would take too long and it would be Easter before we got finished, I propose that we assign specific line (Lines 34-56 for example) as a comic, so no one would be stepping on each other's comics.
1: Scrooge talks to his nephew. Szilard
2: Scrooge sees Marley. SoG
3: ~3-4 comics for each ghost. Lying, BRC, Nameless, Rand, Fayt
4: ~3-4 comics saying I LOVE THE WORLD! Chuck Norris.
5:???. Mister Kaflufflesbad
6. Profit! Jim the robot christmas elf.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIV, The Random Kill Strikes Back. Again..
Mad Mask presents:
The Green Lantern: Although the Green Lantern once commanded the entire Alphantican armed forces, today it is mostly a figure of head.
The High Senator (de facto Commander-in-Chief): The High Senator has ruled the armed forces since 1423, when High Senator Spheniscus Forsteri took command after the capital was conquered and the Green Lantern captured. A century later, the High Senator still rules unofficially as the commander-in-chief.
The Senate: The Senate functions as an advisor to the High Senator and is responsible for negotiations and strategy.
The General of the Army: The General of the Army commands the entire Alphantican Army and represents it on the Senate. The current General of the Army is Demersus Eudyptes.
The Admiral of the Fleet: The General of the Army commands the entire Alphantican Navy and represents it on the Senate. The current Admiral of the Fleet is Scelis Icadyptes.
