Somehow the driving rain must have masked the approaching Skaven ship from Kordon's sight. Blast it! Now I've got to climb back down the damn thing...

Fortunately the Captain's warning gave him plenty of time to get back to the deck. Judging that he still had a few moments, the dwarf raced below deck (okay, moved as quickly as his strong, but short, legs could carry him). Fighting against the press of crew heading to the gun deck, Kordon ripped his axe and buckler from his pack. Strapping the buckler to his left arm took just a few moments...but in those moments he heard several explosions from above.

Cannon fire...I hope that half-mad human doesn't blow us up, he thought, then headed back up the narrow stair. A calvacade of explosions greeted him and a quick glance showed that it was the elf, of all things, launching badly aimed cannon ball after badly aimed cannon ball.

"Ach, someone should stop that fool before we're out of powder," he muttered. It looked like the ship was closing to boarding range, but Kordon couldn't be certain. He moved towards the rail and Tethellin, preparing to repel any boarders.

Kordon will follow his combat priorities, assuming lethal combat. Whenever movement is not required to engage an enemy the first half-action will be aim, the second half action will be attack. Strike to stun the initial target and then lethal damage attacks until it is subdued. Base WS=35, Base Str=27. Add +10 to WS for aimed attacks, add +10 to Str for Stun attacks. Kordon will parry first successful hit against him at WS=45 (buckler defensive bonus) and dodge any subsequent attack. Will stay near Tethellin whenever dwarvenly possible.

21, if they are packed in.

Right now, when it comes to combat I can throw magic darts at the Skaven, make them drop their weapons or put them to sleep by touch. I can also make light and sound. There's only so much a wizard can do before becoming a full-fledged Magister.

Gundread trundles about waiting for the Skaven and swinging his cutlass round in circles.

he says to Becky.

The Skaven boat rams your ship with unbelievable force. Aside from the Seer, the ones that were blasted by the bomb, and the one the grapeshot smacked in the face sending him overboard, the Skaven leap aboard skittering. I'm assuming one per character, as there are NPCs.
