Tethellin saw one of the ratmen almost drop its sword into the deck. He looked round and noticed Sigfried gesturing and chanting bizarrely. The spell hadn't been very effective, but it might be a useful trick in a life or death situation.

A skaven leapt from its plagueship to the deck of the Watered Goose, chittering madly. Clearly it feared the whips of its master more than the blades of its enemy.

Kordon, seeing the creature prepare to spring waited, timing his blow for maximum effect.

As soon as the creature's twisted feet touched the planks of the ship, Kordon swung his buckler towards the Ratman's elongated snout.

His buckler smashed into the nose of the skaven with a crunch and a squeak, but the creature shook off the effect of the blow and prepared to strike with his own pockmarked and jagged blade.

The skaven can, unless you kill them, then another will go and attack you.

Yeah, Sorry about lack of posts (for all games) I have been REALLY tired lately and have had homework and finals coming up in a week.

ALL THOSE WHO FEEL UNABLE TO FIGHT, GET UNDER THE DECK, ILL DO MY BEST TO STOP THEM GETTING DOWN!!! becky bellows as several people(npcs, at least a few of them wouldnt fight) rush past down below deck.

once the people are out the way becky draws 2 guns (quick draw) and fires them simultainously at different skaven (swift attack)

Gundread ducked the Skaven's vicious swing, picked up an empty barrel and shoved it onto the ratman's head, giggling, then gave him a good kick sending him over the rail.

And it was at about this point that the first smoke-bomb hit the deck and the air was clogged with thick oily fumes. Nobody could see.

After the first smoke bomb hit the deck, a barrage of dozens more poured forth, followed by the skaven seer chanting and causing a cloud to form around you. You feel the ship shake. Another ship hit the one you are on. More clouds cover around you. All the players (I dont care if Gundred and Becky go) get knocked out and dragged aboard the other ship. You are passed out.

Sometime later, you wake up. You are in a prison type cell. But you can feel yourself being moved along. You are still on a ship. There are not many people around you, a hedge wizard, the other new recruits, a trapper, and a half dead zealot. There is a jailer sitting on a stool, obviously asleep by the loud snoring.

ooc: I meant if you want to play her, on the ship the players were captured on.Like if you want to have her be captured to so you can play her while they where captured.

OOC: Can Gundread have thought they were boarding the other ship and jumped aboard to do so, not realising what was going on?

I wouldn't put it past him to do so.

haha, yeah sure. So once he jumps to the other ship he is bludgeoned and put in the "jail" cell

Susi Haleberry

Susi has already backed away from the rail before the skaven board, knowing she'll be more effective with her sling than her knife. When the non-combatants head below decks, she follows them as far as the hatch, stationing herself there and picking a target from among the attackers.

Focusing on the elf's opponent, she is about to let fly with her sling when the first smoke bomb makes it impossible to see. Lowering the sling, she tries to retreat belowdecks. However, no sooner has she gotten the hatch open than she hears a sound behind her. Spinning, she had just enough time to register the club swinging at her temple before the world goes dark.

Susi sat up, holding the side of her aching head. "Damn. That's the last time I stay above decks in a fight." Glancing around, she realized she wasn't on the Watered Goose and groaned. "Assuming I ever have the chance. Days like this I almost wish I never left the farm."

[Etcetera]

Tethellin woke up.
"This isn't good. I wonder if we still get paid.
He had a splitting headache and his arm still hurt. Tethellin looked round. The other crew were in as much of a predicament as he was.

OOC: I assume the skaven have taken our weapons.

OOC: I also assume they went below decks and took everyone there too.

"I can fix a wound, but not a capture. Why couldn't they have just tried to kill us and be done with it?"

Without his equipment, Carl could only treat small scrapes or other such wounds people had, but went about it anyways.

Uuuh... I'm afraid what the Skaven have in store for us will make us wish we were dead. Siegfried clutches his head.

"I imagine we may be able to find out more about the skaven then. I've heard they carry all sorts of diseases."

Kordon groaned and rubbed his head. It had taken several of the rat men to club him into submission, but in the end he had finally been knocked unconcious with the hilt of a sword.

Ach, how am I gonna live this down? he thought, more disturbed by the fact that skaven had done him in than his impending death. Well, maybe there'll be a chance for a decent death choking the life from one of these flea-wagons.

He rolled over and sat up, naseua gripping at his innards. Through cloudy eyes he recognized Tethellin, Carl, Susi and the rest, arrayed in a large cell. The dwarf realized that the rocking motion was real, and not just a byproduct of his head wounds, so they must still be on a ship of some sort.

"We're all still alive. Lucky us," he groaned. Looks like the elf lordling's survived his try with the ratmen. I guess I'm not a complete failure...yet. Kordon was sorely tempted to roll back to his side and return to the blissful ignorance of unconciousness. In the end, though, his pragmatic side won out, and he started looking about for something to use as a weapon should the chance to win free present itself.

Let me answer some questions:
1st. You are not on a skaven ship, it is........(not telling you yet)
2nd. They only took you guys, they realized that they were outnumber even with both ships, so they only took a few of you.
3rd. Yes they (not skaven) took your weapons and supplies, but if you escape you can take them back
4th. I think that is it.

The hedge wizard, the trapper, and the half dead zealot, laugh at you. The trapper then tries to talk I'm Jules, I'm from Bretonnia, and I would say that you are on a Dark Elf boat and that that man is a jailer to protect you from escaping, see that zealot, got bludgeoned almost till death for tryin'. he says in Reikspiel but with a Bretonnian accent. I'm Maxwell, a hedge wizard. The Bretonnian trapper, the zealot of Ulric, and I are an adventuring group. We were captured a week ago I think.
