"Me and Lex are best friends," Turtle says, not feeling it justifiable to share Lex's feelings. "What were you talking about before, about loving something that doesn't have a soul?"

You now hates stupid not-vampire-anymore now! Good good good! He is stupid, and full of himself! Kaela says, winking out.

"I don't hate him. I just don't-- Oh hell, I don't know how I feel..." Turtle mutters, then sees that Kaela is gone.

"Why do I have the feeling that something that's going to really piss me off is happening in another thread? Eh... I'm sure it's nothing."

Lex looks over. Well, I'm not leaving the safety of home, until this storm is over.

She goes to the kitchen. Want some hot chocolate, Mistress?

"Hot chocolate sounds nice," Turtle says. "Too bad Melody's not here as well, but at least she's safe in Amour's temple."

Oh, is that what happened to the little.... Lex gets the Hot Cocoa.

Turtle sits in front of the pink flames of the fireplace, enjoying a quiet evening at home with her henchpixie. After a while, she starts to sing.

Lex flies over to the couch. She removes two large warmers, that appear out of no where. One is filled with Hot Chocolate. There is a marshmellow dispenser on the side. She points at it. The other has a warm, moist, Vanilla-Chocolate cake. She sits down next to Turtle. Listening to her sing, and spreading a fine mist of pixie dust nto the air.

Meanwhile, down in the detention wing, George's cell opens.

"Eh? What?"

Statement: You are being released, Mr Shackleton.
Explanation: You have been held for the maximum allowable time. The law does not permit indefinite detention when no charges have been filed.
Query: Would you like some cake?

"No. No cake." George decides to leave before someone overrides the drone.

Noctis Lucis Caelum re arrives at the base satisfied that there in no wya hes going to be getting help at the Taverna.

As Turtle drifts off to sleep in front of the fireplace, it occurs to her fleetingly that, if she ever did learn how to make herself fall in love, perhaps Lex would be a more deserving object than Fanboy.

Kris is wandering, staying conspicuously away from the labs, kitchen, and rose garden.

Phyllis is out, adding more wards to the Rose Garden, and the base in general.

A sulky looking cat with golden eyes is sitting on the couch.

Libulel sees the kitty-cat, and, smiling hopefully, wander towards it, shivering even further, feeling the chill even greater than he was earlier.

Czernov's in the training room, testing out his new Timecube, if anyone goes in.

Libulel starts, and shudders, thinking of the big bad magicks his grandfather had taught him of. What was it? A cat spirit? A sorceror? A malign fey, like the fairie folk he himself was descended from? I apologise for offending you, sir. May I enquire as to your name, unless you are a of a race where names hold power, in which case I apologise for any offence I may have cause by asking.

The cat raises a head at Libulel, as if noticing him for the first time, and blinks.
Sorry about earlier. It's the cold, it makes me grumpy, especially snow this heavy, as it prevents my flying. I'm Jazirian.

I am Libulel AnDaDunin, sir Jazirian, it is good to meet you. He nods his head sharply, respectfully, his curls bouncing. May I assist you, in some way?

Not really, I'm just stuck here until this Dire Winter dies down. Some company would be nice though.
The cat blinks again.

Tentatively, Libulel tries to stroke Jazirian. Cautiously. Very, very cautiously.

Noctis continues to stir a hot choclate bored.

Maric flies into the main room and starts to fly around the general area.

The cat re-opens one eye.
This really isn't going to work, is it.
Suddenly, there is much cracking and contortion of body, and a blond-haired, golden eyed human is sitting where the kitty was. Of course, this probably scares Libulel even more.

[Kaelaroth]

Libulel looks bloody terrified, but holds his ground, well, he steps back. Somewhat. He gulps.

Jazirian catches his expression.
Oh, great. Another person who's terrified of Dragons. You'd think they'd know better, what with this being a good league and all sorts of random occultness happening here. The guy's part fey for godssakes.

[Kaelaroth]

((Psst. Libulel doesn't know he's part fey. Well, he does, ish. But he doesn't know he is to the degree that he is. And he doesn't know that that's weird. He assumed everyone here is.))
