GLoG 12: [Insert Unique and Witty Title Here]

[Uncle Festy]

"Huh. Sorry to hear that." Ken frowns, thinking. Then, he looks up, a grin on his face. "I know what will make you feel better! Cake!" He offers the rest of the slice of chocolate-banana cake (about three quarters) to Happy. "The robot down at the visitor's center made it, you know. Much better then I expected."

[happyturtle]

Turtle grins and takes the cake. "Actually, my henchpixie made it. The drone just delivers it. But yes, it's very good cake." She takes a bite. "What's the hurry, Vespa? If I decide to end the marriage, there's no reason it has to be right away, is there?"

[Vespe Ratavo]

I guess not. But he's rather...unbalanced. Just the other day he was leading a force of 400 titans against your sister and myself. Vespa wonders for a moment if Turtle knew this already, and the consequences of telling her this, before deciding that it could only be bad for Fan, and that was perfectly acceptable.

[happyturtle]

"He what?"

[Vespe Ratavo]

Vespa raises an eyebrow. No one told you yet? He was convinced Draken was at the Citadel, so he was about to lead this big crusade and try to kill both of us. I mean, we could have taken him, but for once in his life he did something intelligent, he realized Draken wasn't there and left.

[Uncle Festy]

"Yay! Cake cheers everyone up!" He hears Vespa speak, and Happy's reply. "Wait, what? What's going on?"

Turtle sits and thinks this over. On the one hand, attacking her sister's home with an army was not a good thing. On the other hand, he'd retreated. "Don't think I agree with what he did--because I don't--but how exactly is it unbalanced?"

She turns to Ken. "It's a long story. I don't know where to start. Maybe Vespa can explain it. She's the one with the bard levels."

[Lex-Kat]

Lex flies in and grabs a chocolate cake out of the warmer. Hey, Vespa. But wasn't that Vespe at Rabbit's place? I don't recall you being there. Lex looks confused.

She then POPs out. Taking the cake with her.

[Vespe Ratavo]

...because he was about to kill your sister (not to mention me) just because he thought there might be something that could help him track down Draken in there?

Also, I don't have the bard levels anymore, my other self could explain. Is it okay if he comes in?

She turns to Lex. I am Vespe, I just died and changed form. So what he's doing now is my past.

[happyturtle]

"Except that he left when you convinced him Draken wasn't there. So maybe he wasn't after you and Rabbit after all. And of course your other you can come in. We're friends, aren't we?"

[Vespe Ratavo]

The point remains that if Draken was there, he wouldn't have hesitated to kill your sister. But I digress.

The police box fades in, and Vespe steps out. Yes? Oh, hi Turtle.

[happyturtle]

"Don't worry, Vespa. I'll take it up with Fan later. Or maybe, I should just talk to my sister. Hi Vespe."

[Vespe Ratavo]

Vespa shrugs. Whatever you think is best, I'm just trying to be helpful.
Hi. Who wanted to know what now?

[Lex-Kat]

Lex reappears. I'm back. Just had to deliver a cake. I should charge for this service. Lex smirks.

[happyturtle]

"I appreciate it Vespa. Really I do. It's good to have friends, even when one of my friends seems to be two different people." She grins at Vespe. "Ken asked 'what's going on' and I didn't feel equal to the challenge."

[Uncle Festy]

Ken turns to Lex. "Ah, so you're the famous cakesmith. The Chocolate-Banana cake was fantastic. Thank you." Then he turns to Vespe. "Yes, that would be me. You're Vespe, I presume? Nice to meet you." He extends a hand.

[Vespe Ratavo]

Nice to meet you too. Vespe shakes Ken's hand, then grabs a diagram featuring the faces of himself, Vespa, Turtle, Fan, Rabbit, and Draken. He draws lines connecting them as he speaks. Right, so, I'm Vespe, and she is Vespa, who I'm going to turn into after I get killed. She is Turtle, and she is Rabbit's sister. Rabbit does not like Fanboy, who is married to Turtle, and I don't like him either but that's besides the point. Someone- he quickly scribbles a question mark labeled "someone"- erased Turtle's memory of being married to Fan, and now she doesn't love him anymore, and Fanboy thinks Draken did this, and he thinks Rabbit and I are in cahoots with Draken in some sort of conspiracy or something, so he got some titans- he draws a person going "grarr" for titans- and decided to storm the Citadel, which is where Rabbit and I live, because he thought Draken was there, but he didn't.

The chart is now an unholy mess of lines, squiggles, and smudges.

Make sense now?

((Deadtime for food))

[Lex-Kat]

Lex looks confused again. If I say yes, will you put it away?

Then she looks to Ken. You are welcome, my fine friend. Just come by, anytime you want another.

[Me.]

Ryu undeadtimes and smiles. He looks around and waits for someone to talk to. He then notices Turtle and runs up to hug her...

[happyturtle]

"Hi Ryu. Would you like some cake?" Turtle asks. She turns back to Vespe. "How is Rabbit now? Is she okay? Is she happy?"

[Lex-Kat]

Lex goes and checks the cake warmer. All we have at the moment is Chocolate Coconut Surprise.

[Me.]

Ryu humbly excepts the offer and then says to her in a happy and ecstatic voice ,"I'm so happy you're back. I have great news, while you were gone and I was meditating, I went through three trials of skill, mind, and spirit. I completed these and opened my final three chakras! Now, all of my seven chakra points are open!" He then waits, anticipating confused looks...

He gets a confused look from Turtle. "I don't know what that means."

"Um… yeah, sure, let's go with that." Ken looks even more confused then before.

[Vespe Ratavo]

Vespe smiles. Rabbit's just fine, she was quite happy the last I saw her.

[Lex-Kat]

Lex raises an eyebrow. I'm so happy for you. Want some cake?

[Me.]

Ryu expected this and explains"According to my religion, every being has 3 chakra points, the pools or resting places of chi, magic, energy. When one is blocked, ones abilities are limited. When all are open, they gain incredible power. When last we met, I had 4 of my points open. While you were gone, I was meditating and went through 3 spiritual trials. After completing these, my 3 remaining points opened up. Now, all 7 of mine are open, giving me incredible power and wisdom. "

Turtle narrowed her eyes at Vespe. "Now you're lying to me about something. Either Fan was never at the Citadel, or Rabbit isn't happy, but both of those cannot possibly be true."

[Lex-Kat]

Lex giggles at that.

[Me.]

Ryu looks confused, but decide to cast detect truth and asks Vespe if he is lying...
