What we have in mind is simple. Your people undoubtabley have systems that are simply to hostile to make it worth the resources for you to colonize. Since we do not have similar problems, we wish to either trade for or purchase those systems.

I assume you mean planets easily colonization for your people? Yes we do. We deliberately avoided those.

We are doing quite well. We've recently upgraded our transportation network, and this allows us to expand quickly.

We can do that, although I should warn you we use a large number of automated systems such as asteroid miners. We do prefer privacy, but we have no objection to your monitoring us, either by ship or in person.

Would you be amenable to a trial, to see if our two races can get along in close proximity? Perhaps a system with planets amenable to both our races, that neither of us has attempted to colonize yet? Make it a joint effort, and see what occurs?
