    Fatima watched the kobold run for its life. She calmed her mind and felt the adrenaline and rage of battle turn into stillness. Sheathing her longsword, she looked over her wounds quickly while moving towards the her companions. They didn't seem especially deadly, so Fatima chose to ignore them and persevere.

    She replied bluntly, but not without some kindness, to the mage's barking: "Sadly, neither of us can heal you, but it looks like you'll survive."

    The kobold's shape continues to grow smaller as he runs away from the adventurers. Soon he becomes lost to sight in the pounding rain. As you look around you realize that only a little time has passed since the battle began. The rain is still pouring, mixing the blood of the bodies with the mud. The fire still burns, protected by the large boulders. What do you do?

    OOC: Combat is over, so you don't have to worry about actions any more. Until the other group finishes their encounter, just RP for a bit.

    Nachan slips away from the attacking darkness, and again slips into the haze of night. He then releases a blast of arcane energy at his already weakened foe.

    Meanwhile, the attacking darkness dissolves into air.

    Nachan's blast catches the kobold right in the chest, nearly killing him(14 damage). The scaled-plated one hear Reed shifts around him, trying to flank the halfling. Seeing his ally on the other side, his confidence is boosted and he strikes. The other kobold, once shielded from everyone by the darkness, sees through the dissipating darkness the warlock. He charges across, slashing with his spear(7 damage).

    Reed's attack slices through the armor, leaving a gaping wound on the kobold's chest(13 damage on M3). It staggers as though it is about to fall, but manages to stay on his feet. Just before the other kobold who had been flanking Reed can strike Reed moves from his flanked position... into another one. However, this does not dissuade the kobold(M4) and it swings its shortsword at the warlord, but misses.

    Maps pic is broken. And deal (for saying who I attack). I normally do, but am having a hard time telling apart which kobold is which. I wasn't sure which one was the armored guy. I only knew that he was adjacent to me, due to your previous text. Could you, in the future, give us some basic info next to each 'M'? Just like M3 - Armored Kobold, M1 - normal kobold, or something like that?

    Aside from that, I love how this game is moving so far.

    Nachan's blast goes wide of his target fizzling out as it goes further into the storm. The other armored kobold (M3) shifts up, moving to get a better position on Reed and slashes at him with his shortsword. Just as it seemed certain that the blade would pierce the armor, Reed twisted at the last moment, managing to dodge the blade by some chance of luck. The kobold armed with a spear (M5), chases after Nachan, intent on running the warlock through with his spear, but ends up missing him.

    I don't think it will take much more to drop these things friend! Just keep blasting, I'll protect you!

    Reed ducks out of combat with the other two kobolds and makes a calculated strike at the spear user harassing Nachan, aiming for the back of the throat to end it.

    Reed's lunge catches the kobold in the throat, blood spurting out from the mortal wound(13 damage to M5). One of the heavily armed kobolds (M4) shifts up to press the attack on Reed(4 damage). Right after he lunges, Nachan's eldritch blast goes wide of him, hitting the boulders behind him, instead. The other armed kobold moves up as well, trying to get into a flanking position on Reed, but misses.

    Pulling the slender blade from the poor creatures throat, Reed turns around swiftly, aiming to slam the hilt of his sword into the armored creatures skull, knocking him out. Lets see if we can't get some info out of these rats.

    Snap... not sure if this negates the knock out... but vicious damage from the crit: (1d12)[6]. And because its a crit, the original damage would have maxed out at 13

    Reed halts his swing at the very end of his attack, bashing the kobold over the head with the hilt, knocking him unconscious(19 damage on M3). The other kobold, seeing his ally fall starts to flee. Nachan, however, has no intention of letting him escape, moving to see the fleeing kobold and channels all of his frustration into the attack sending a blast of eldritch energy towards the creature(9 damage on M4). It almost bowls it over, but it keeps its balance and continues to flee.

    Satisfied with his strike, Reed grins widely, and decides not to persue the fleeing kobold, confident in the warlock. He does walk over to his backpack and retrieve some rope though, intent on tying up their captive.

    Get em' good if you can! We don't want him running back to whatever hole he came from and getting more friends!

    Yes I think so. Reed finishes tying up the creature, and steps away from it, taking a breather.

    They still may have friends nearby. Its bad to walk through a storm, but probably worse to have our throats slit in the night... I say we continue our journey and rest when we get to town. We can take this thing with us. He says as he lightly kicks the tied kobold. But first his not so lucky friends may have something to aid us on our journey. The Halfling begins to loot the corpses of the kobolds.
