Sarach sighs. "Fine. I'll go first." he quietly walks up to the window, and forces it it open, before climbing through. Well, tries to be quiet, his armour not being condusive to silence.

The room is so dark, you can not even see your own hand.

Behind you, you can hear window open.

Merry covers Ivy's mouth and he whispers into her ear.

"Someone is coming through the window. Stay very silent."

Merry will stand up and try to remeber the entries and exits of the room.

Jhaelven crouches beneath the window, and whispers What is in the room? Is it safe for the Tormar and myself to join you?

""Pitch black, can't see a thing...and this isn't normal darkness, it must be magical in nature...I don't like it. But nothings leapt out at me to rip me limb from limb if that's what you mean."

"I'm gonna go around back and see if I can't find an alternate entrance"

"Tormar, we should all stick together. It's safer that way. I say we stick with this entrance, so you two get in here now."

"We need to retain the element of surprise, and staying in one group will make us all one large target if there are spellcasters around. I'm going around."

With that Tormar sneaked around the building to check for alternate entrances.

"Fine...Jha, you're sticking with me then. Lets go."

I was planning on it. Let the oversized one get killed. Jhaelven says as he climbs in. Find a wall, place your hand on it, and walk around the room, look for a door or stairs. Let me know if you find it. I'll light up the edges with Faerie Fire.

Sarach feels for the edge of the wall, and, upon finding it, announces; "The wall is found."

There are no captives in this house, and you insult your unwilling hostess by infering there is. I suggest you apologize. A hafling has come into this house unconcius, has been treated well, and may accompany you, IF you state your name, and what you want with him.

Ivy huddles on the chair. "Merry, who are these people?" she whispers.

Hostess? That changes things... Sarach sheathes his sword, with a schiik. "My appologies. It would appear that our informat was mis, uh, informed. But weather we are to continue talking, or if we must resort to blows, could we at least move into some light, or at least some normal darkness. I get nervous when I can't see what I'm doing."

I do not know who this is, my lovely lady, but I do believe it is me they want.

Well, mister trespasser, let us take this matter into the streets, for it does not concern her, or my other friends in this room. I let you know that they will stand guard, and will attack you should anything happen to me.

You, and whoever you brought here with you, will stand in the street, away from the door. I will approach you at no more than 20 feet, until I feel it is safe or necesary to come closer.

"We were under the impression that you were being held hostage here. Quite simpley, we were hired to collect you, and had been given specific orders not to kill anyone in the household. That is the quickest I can explain our reason for trying to sneak into the house. May I assume you are going to come willingly?"

I... don't know. Who hired you? What do they want with me? I don't think I know anyone who would go through such trouble to rescue me...
