"Always. But depends on the kind of job, whether I'll take it. So, make your pitch."

The tall woman smiles, exposing her large canines. Her yellow eyes glint ferally in the dim light.

Jaster nods and take another sip of his drink, and says, I could do that, but it depends on how much your willing to pay. i'll do it for 600 Credits a day

Zebron looks at the gotal, and whispers "I follow a different path, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't announce what I am."

[Emperor Demonking]

Sunb: The man looks at you with a scowl. "If you needed to know my name, you'd have been told it by your superiors." He then took out a datapad. "Slice into it."

DWN: "The Gotal told me that hesa." Said the Gungan indicating the well dressed human. "Has work for people."

Karrha: "Now, my dear. Don't take this the wrong way but you and the rest of your species are rather intimidating. You also look pretty strong. I'd like you to be one of my guards. You can't do a worse job that thugs that can't even speak basic."

Jaster: "Hmm, six hundred credits. I'm not sure whether we can pay that. You'd have to talk to our group's head. Would you mind going to his office?" Said the Moisture Farmer.

Zebron: The Gotal smiled, again. "Do you know know much the Empire will pay me, if I tell them about you? They'll pay me a lot. I'm a civilised Gotal, so I'll allow you to persuade me not to. To persuade me with credits."

[Liliedhe]

"Guard against who? And how much will you pay?"

She shrugs, obviously not offended by the 'intimidating' description.

[NEO|Phyte]

[Jawa trade language] "Why should I follow you? You have given me no incentive to do so, particularly when my owner would not appreciate me disobeying him. Knowing jawas, he'd probably wipe my memory and use me to haul a cart or something. Explain yourselves, perhaps if you are lucky, I will switch my blaster to stun before tiring of your antics."

With these words, MBG-1 adjusts his stance, lowering his frame to both improve stability should a fight break out and bring his sensory devices (and weapons) closer to the jawas.

[Emperor Demonking]

MBG: The Jawas look at you again before trying to run away.

[NEO|Phyte]

MBG-1 returns to his 'standing' position, and resumes his observing of the various people wandering about.
"Good to see they had SOME sense."

[Graybacca]

No, i don't mind going to see you boss, just let me finish my drink, with that Jaster downs the rest of his drink in one gulp, Jaster leave what he owes for the drink on the Bar and then says, OK friend lead the way.

[Mando Knight]

"Thanks. I'll look into it."
He gets up, and walks over to the human. Once he detects a break in the man's current conversation, he asks, (discreetly) "I heard you had need for a mercenary?"

Zebron gets an irritated smile on his face, and says "What, that a Miraluka is living? *Pulls down the "blindfold" a little, revealing no eye sockets* Little bio lesson, Miraluka don't have eyes. How do you think we see?

Don't Gotals have a limited form of telepathy? They can "read" my thoughts/emotions? If so, then Zebron would be feeling a balance of aggravation, irritation... and a little of exasperation.
If its just intuitive body language, then I'm obviously irritated.

Sunb picks up his drink and the human's datapad and nods him over to a booth at the side of the cantina. Sliding onto the bench, he holds to datapad up and says, "Neighbor, I don't think my employer much cares about who you are. I have a job I'm paid to do, and all we're doing right now is killing time. I don't mind the company." He puts the datapad down on the table between them.

Tassk continued to listen, a bit intruiged - a misunderstanding of some sort? It seemed to go back and forth a bit, before the two moved far enough away from the Trandoshan that he lost sound of them.

He shrugged; that was curious, but not focal. A little more relaxing and he'd shift to leave - perhaps there was something else elsewhere in town to pique his interest.

He took another sip and exhaled, relishing the taste.

[Ascension]

Hakka knocks back an appreciable portion of his drink, thankful for the burn. He isn't quite sure what the beverage is made of, and he isn't quite sure if it has an alternate use as a cleaning fluid, but he doesn't really care. It suits him well enough.

"More boring than the average cantina," he remarks to his lizardlike companion, "at least for us... I would suggest we go find someplace with dancing girls, but I guess mammalian anatomy wouldn't interest you..."

[Emperor Demonking]

Karrha & DRH: "Guard against, well everyone really. I'd pay... how does 550 a day sound?" Said the man, before turning towards DRH and giving him his card. "Just a minute."

Zebron: The Gotal smiled. "Oh, I can tell the difference between the two basic levels of force use. You are certainly someone on the higher level. I'll give you one last chance before getting the imperials."

Sunb: "Fine, slice into it. Now." Said the man.

[Liliedhe]

"Sounds fine for me." She grins ferally.

[Emperor Demonking]

The man hands you his card, "Would you mind going to that address, in order to make it official?"

Jaster: "Follow me then." If you follow, the man walks about four buildings down.

[Liliedhe]

"When?" She looks at the card and tucks it away in her clothes.

[Graybacca]

Replacing his helmet back on his head with it's T-shaped visor, Jaster follow the man .

Why the hell not? He raised one of the ridges above his eyes at the human, but slid the tablet back toward himself. Sunb drew out a datapad of his own and threaded a universal jack from the bottom to connect to two computers. Toggling them both on, he began to look inside. What's so interesting on this little thing...

Well I'm here too. but for me this is the third game he's started that I've joined and that have died before we even faced any bad guys.
