How did you manage that? I've had two pairs of shoes in the past 5 years, and I walk about ten miles a week, at least in the warm weather when I can go outside comfortably.

Amongst other things, a style of dance called the Melbourne Shuffle. Watch the vid and then imagine how much it would wear out shoe soles if done whenever I get bored (which is frequently).

eh, i cant say that i've worn out any shoes while dancing (mostly because combat boots are hard to wear out) but i have ripped some pants

The worst thing is, you aren't far off. I once got hit by a car on the way to a night out clubbing in Sydney. It rolled over my right knee and I hit my head on the way down, causing a concussion.

My friends, upon seeing this, helped me up and asked if I needed to be taken to hospital. "Nah, I didn't travel two hours just to end up in hospital. To the club!"

Now, I don't actually remember the rest of the night, but here is what I've gathered happened from friends stories, tales from the people I apparently met that night, and photographic evidence:

-Tried withdrawing money from my drivers license three times.
-Without going into detail, was rather successful with the girls that night.
-Met a bunch of people who are now really good friends. Didn't remember meeting any of them, luckily I'd made them add my phone number.
-Danced on my injured leg for the majority of the night.
-Theres a photo with me snuggling a pillow in the middle of the club. No idea where I got the pillow from, or where it went.
-Eventually went home, had three hours sleep.
-Woke up, had to go to work because my workmates all knew that I'd been out the night before.
-Hopped around the arcade my whole shift because I could no longer put any weight on the leg.

It still hurts, after half a week. Aren't mouth wounds supposed to heal quickly?

I can believe that. I've never been to a concert, but I knew a guy in high school who was working on adjusting the fit of a gauntlet during study hall. It was studded with inch long spikes . I asked him what it was for, and apparently its function was bashing people in the face up near the stage.
