Welcome to the world famous GitP Steam thread, where we discuss Steam and the games on it.
⏎ Steam Groups
There's a variety of groups on Steam that certain members from this forum have created related to these games, ranging from vague to actually useful. If you'd like to be part of these, either ask a member of the group you wish to join, or message one of the Administrators there. Or create a new group for a game that hasn't been listed, or otherwise fills a niche. A few of these listed here;
Minecraft is a game about placing blocks while running from skeletons. Or something like that. The game involves players creating and destroying various types of blocks in a three dimensional environment. The player takes an avatar that can destroy or create blocks, forming fantastic structures, creations and artwork across the various multiplayer servers in multiple game modes.
The server uses a whitelist to allow only certain individuals entry. To add yourself, or any questions, ask Scuzzball.
While used primarily for communication between teams in a competitive match, it can also be used as a lounge area for people to meet up and talk to each other.

There are many ways to connect to and enjoy IRC, either by using a web client, a traditional desktop client, or by using a plugin for your browser / game. A quick how-to join the channel can be found here. If you already have some experience using IRC but would like to know more, once you're inside the channel, any questions you might have should be answered by those already present.

Also, could one of you fine folk invite me to the Giantitp L4D2 server/group/whatever? Me and my buddy Keith 3 of my friends had a pretty hard time getting an matching team for team versus, and I figure having the Playground on my side will help those kind of things. I'm Thorgrim29 [QC] btw.

I think so too.
I learned my phrase from watching my Cousin one time playing Final Fantasy Online or something like that and he was getting together with one of his friends, who was playing a female character.

I already let other people use my account, mostly family members. So yeah, scamming's a tad pointless.
...That said, of the people that are allowed to use my account, some have ransacked my steam wallet to get themselves some games a few times. Bit annoying, that.
Also: Finished Dawn of War 2 yesterday. Excellent game. Plan to start Chaos Rising after homework. Terse speech.
