Premise: Psionics and Technology hand-in-hand. What would a civilization like that be? A cosmology?

But first the basics.

Round1: Space-Cavemen

Round2: Integration levels {In progress}

Round3: General Races

Futuristic without a doubt. Too many possibilities to just pass up.

I'm going in the complete opposite direction- stone age.

I think crystal replacing metal would be interesting . Stone age still doesn't omit psijamming either.

Stone Age Psijammers for the win! Space travel with wood, stone, fire, and your very own mind!

I think he means cavemen who travel in giant dugouts across the universe... What's not to love?

But I guess the psijamming vote doesn't come until next round.

Space-travling cave-men!

OK, furistic with lots of tech limitations. I have this wonderful image of a space-faring race (proper space-faring) being menaced by savages who can travle the universe but can't smelt metals so they steal them from others

I was more picturing cave men floating through the void of space on rafts with air kept on them by psychic priests. Even if stone age doesn't win, something like that should be an antagonist race. Like orks, but with less dakka and more stabba.

This is much closer to Vote Up a Campaign Setting than collaborative worldbuilding. In which case, I'd like to volunteer to help with the fluff for the setting. VuaCS wasn't made with just one person after all.

ok sure.

I'm gonna open up the following vote:
Cave-men In Space: Cavemen/Orks in Psionically-driven rocks defying all/most laws of physics just through the power of Awesome and the Rule of Cool.

Current tally: 1 Stone-Age
2 Futuristic
3 Cave-men In Space

Futuristic. And I happen to have a Magitech system that's pretty decent and quite adaptable to Psitech.

Take a look at my signature for the link. The following modifications convert it to Psitech: Batteries can hold 2PP for every spell level it would usually be able to hold. Power Tapestries do not have an Arcane/Divine denotation - They're Psionic. Metapsionic Tapestries cost 1,000gp per 2PP adjustment for the first two, followed by the usual progression afterwards. Craft Magitech changed to Craft Psitech and the CL requirements are changed to ML requirements. The various spells given would need some individual tweaks, but are pretty adaptable.

Most (Or all) of the above will make absolutely no sense until you take a look at the system.

So it's a toss-up between Orks and Futuristic.
I wonder who will win...

EDIT@Welknair: It's too soon for actual crunch and we will probably make our own than cut and paste a Magitech system, no offense.

Just in case that will help with the tie?

Flabort I counted this as Cavemen-In-Space cause of the reason why you voted for Stone Age

I will vote for Futuristic, because it would make the game more complex and interesting, but Cave-men In Space are still awesome and I believe they should be included whichever option ends up chosen.

And if it doesn't win, I'll develop it myself.

...
We know have space-faring cave-men with massive brain-power.
This is gonna be FUN!

Next Round of Voting: Integration of Tech and Psi
Segregation: Psionics and Technology are kept separately, maybe Psionics is considered Holy or Tech never really got off the ground
Clashing: Tech and Psionics accomplish similar things using different methods, they very rarely combine. (Note: To make this work with Cave-men we would need a form of innate Tech-knowledge like da orkz)
Mildly Integrated: Some things run on Tech, some things run on Psi, some run on PsiTech and are awesome.
Full Integration: Psi and Tech might have their own little side-things but PsiTech is usually the be all and end all of things. Psionics might not run with Tech and Tech might not run without Psionics or they have simply always been integrated.

How much technology do cavemen need? Apart from the psionic vessals neccessary to take them between worlds, the only other non-stone age technology they could utilize would be.. psionic weapons maybe?

edit: I guess upon further review that means mild integration. Segregation is also good, hmm I'm not sure. The other ones don't really fit the concept in my opinion.

I only put them in for numbers, a 2-way vote on very similar concepts isn't much of a vote

Alright, mild integration. I think I'm happy with that vote.
