Not at all. I thought there were more people, though. And if you want to be a leader, you might want to take the adept feat for cleric.

Life without a Leader of some kind can be pretty tough for adventurers. Would it be worth posting another short recruitment post to look for someone wanting to play one?
Alternatively, we do have two defenders, I could drop my character (Bugbear) and roll up a Shaman instead (maybe an outcast or survivor of a tribe in the swamp?). Or one of us could run a second character; I could bring in Dragon Don from Bugbear's back story as a Bard, and then kill him off dramatically if/when we bring in someone to run a Leader full time.
Or maybe we just buy a lot of healing potions.

I would really like it if you could keep Bugbear. I don't want to have anyone take a second character. I may just play a DMPC Bard or Cleric who just heals and supports, and stays in the background if not needed.

As useful as a Leader PC is, I say play with whatever you think you will have the most fun writing about. Wardens in particular can bring a lot of healing and other "Leader-y" stuff to the table if you want to build them that way.

I tried to find an "Order of the Stick" character generator, but didn't have any luck. I ended up making my own, using this tutorial I found for Inkscape (free, open-source SVG editor):
